Really great job on this perfect game.
very creative, unique and fun to play. The music and SFX were also very decent and suitable.
I really liked the idea of the stock market and the idea of buying new guns as well.
The variety in the attacks added a lot to the game as well.
Overall, Great work and keep it up !!
Side note:
-I am not sure if this is intended or not, but if someone played the game and bought X amounts of shares and restarted, if the person tried to sell a share, he will get back all the shares from the previous run and money, please check the attached images for more clarity.

Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed!
What you experienced, and I'm sure everyone as well, are some inconsistencies with the stock market on the release build. We didn't have the time unfortunately to address this issue before the deadline, so it is what it is.
The intention was to simply have the shares counters increment by one on each button press immediately and display back to you. And the shares owned value remains throughout the whole playthrough. The flaw likely exists either in the reset logic where we forgot to reset a value somewhere. There seems to be another bug where the action to buy/sell shares is wrongly unavailable at the beginning of a level. Appreciate the feedback and the screenshots, and hope to patch once the voting period is over.
That is fun. Stonks gauge made me chuckle. Small gun is eeevil =)I would like to know what did you used for music. Like software, guitar amp e.t.c.
Glad you liked it! I'll happily layout the music setup.
DAW: Reaper
Drums: GetGood Drums Matt Helpern P4 Signature plugin
Bass: GetGood Nolly Bass Library
Guitars: Schecter Reaper6, ESP LTD M-1007 MS
Amp: Line 6 Helix Stomp for rhythm tones, Petrucci Neural DSP for leads
Helix Patch:
- Horizon Drive
- Cali Rectifer Amp
- Cali V30 Cab
- 57 Dynamic mic
Petrucci Plugin Patch:
- Plini Selenium Lead
For mixing, used stock reaper plugins. ReaEQ for all EQ needs. Reapers stock 1176 compressor on drums. Reapers "Express bus compressor" on instrumental busses and master. ReaLimit on master.
Had fun playing this game, great job, really like the stats tracking you implemented as well :)
The rotating selection of guns was a nice feature - my favourite is the one which fires the bullets in a 'S' shape. The stock market in a bullet hell game was so unexpected and very unique!
Loved the idea of buying new guns when your amo runs out. The art was good and the stock market was intresting but i felt that it was hard to look att the stocks and enemies at the same time. 4/5 would play again.
Legit a very clever concept, encouraging accuracy and being conservative with your shots. The gun variety is very good, though I never used the stock market, it didn't seem to be influenced by gameplay. Also the airplane's pattern is very difficult to work around; I never got past it. Still, concept is very nice with good visuals and music too.
Glad you enjoyed the guns (TerraReef) and the music (myself)!
The difficulty was always a concern and thinking of ways to balance payouts so that the player can cover cost and potentially multiply their money if timed well. Maybe letting the player see the end of a level can see how much they need to engage in the stock market. But ultimately still needs further exploration.
Oh man I love the concept. Bullet hells are hard enough, and now you expect me to micromanage my shares?!
I guess I will stay in debt forever XD my brain is not fast enough to dodge bullets and play the stock market hahaha was fun
