A narrative-driven bullet hell with sinister and dark undertones, especially once you actually enter the arena. That music and static effect really builds the horror, but the contrast in silly game over messages like "Geez that sucks" made for some comic relief haha. Controls felt good but upon first death, hitting "esc" did not reset the game but rather minimized the window, so I would have to start from the beginning and watch through the opening cutscene again without being able to skip it. Adjustment to skip would be appreciated. I'm impressed at the making of this entire game in a single day. Well done.

First off I have to say I LOVE the art style of the story sequence and the cover image of this game. The simplicity of just black and white pixels and a splash of color is so good. Like I get its just an outline but its executed so well so good in fact I am going to spend some time learning how you do it exactly because a visual novel in that style would be glorious on the eyes, but enough gushing about simple pixels on with my feedback:

Fun/Gameplay:

Well as it turns out I am terrible at this game and lived for a whopping 3 seconds so I don't have much to say other than this game seems cool of what I've seen, looks like a lot of effort went into making assets and bullets work from the screenshots. The one big mistake you made was not adding a quick restart button/feature because I would love to give the game another shot but watching that cutscene again when I know I'm just going to die quickly sucks. As for the difficulty of the game for most peoples submissions I've been saying they need to make the game a bit easier but for this game I think the idea of a rage bullet hell plays in exactly with what the core of this game is.

Visual:

Yippie another section for me to say how much I like the cover art, I'm sure the game art is fine and you did a great job (for 3s) but the cutscene's simple white pixels on a black background makes a very stylized look that I cant get enough of, please drop a tutorial on YT or a guide at how you do it because the game I work on after Sonar Sight is going to be styled like your cover art.

Audio:

Honestly from what I heard after I died the music is unconsensually attacking my ears, way too much crunch and sound going on for me. I get it the game is supposed to be rage, hardcore bullet hell but a simple metal track would have been fine instead of causing the player to mute the tab.

Theme:

Cant speak much on this other than it sure is a bullet hell. Never saw the consequence part so I have no idea how that works, which is fine.

Overall:

This game brings the hell to bullets for sure.

Fun Game!!! I liked the feel.  I wish there was a way to skip faster through the story line I went back to play again after realizing I had audio playing in the back ground and just wanted to speed through the story.  Cheers Great job!

It's a very good project. I do not know, there may be a bug, but from the bottom left you can die on the air. Visually done well and combined with the music. But I would like to have a more interesting and more striking attack. But the concept is very good. Also, some visual effects make the gameplay much more difficult than others, so you specifically die to get a playable screen, which of course is not very good. I will be grateful if you play my game and leave your opinion.

OOoooohhhh There will be a continuation… maybe

Love the visuals and the music! So good!

If I die, I do regret it because the escape key to reset is not handled properly? Or maybe because the browser is eating that input instead.

Browser’s eatin it

Got through with 10~20-ish death.

the screen effect is very confusing and bullets are fast, but doable due to simple patterns.

and I liked the ending too :D

Developer

You did it :o Cooooollll

The perfect game to play when huffing paint. Great vibes and the screen effects made the fairly simple bullet pattern way harder to predict.

Developer

Thanks for playin it <3

I love the game! It's wonderful. Effects are amazing. I was worrying I won't finish it, but I did and the cutscene at the end was super cool.

Developer

Yey thanks for playing!
