Maybe a bit corny, but what is the human experience if not corny?

We all have or will experience loss, right?

Thank for listening, and im glad you enoyed <3

gahhhh

Thank you for listening <3

This project was wonderful for me, and im assuming for javi as well

yayyyy! Thank you :))

Thank you for checking out our submission!

Creating harmonic and progressive variety is always a challenge, I hope to be better in that department in the future :)

guhhhh :sob:

thanks for listening <3

yooooooo

I actually usually do that for my tracks in this vein (I also am VERY aware of the power of contrast, I think I had the same sort of comment for javi while we were working on these lol), with time constraints and stuff I wasn't able to do NEARLY as much polish on this as I wanted to though lol :)

thanks for checking it out!

Thanks for checking our submission out! This was our first, but definitely not our last :)

Thank you for listening! :) for my tracks at least, I wanted to draw things out, sort of leading up to the fights the player would be experiencing. So in that way each track sort of has an area intro type thing, with the boss music intro theme of sorts following.

sobbbb

:3 thank for listen

Thank you for listening! :3

Thank you! I love making the biggg moments so muchh :D

You should host these somewhere, clicking download 100 times isn't fun :)

Very cool work!

My fav was Rumble in the Twilight harbor.

Loved the completely off the wall sound design and sound selection, really brain tickling.

Thank you for your submission!

Stunning work. Really touching writing, and while the first song set the scene, I truly felt the story evolve in the second.

Thanks for creating!

Wow, super cool entry!

The gimmick (if you can even call it that) of using the different times as time signatures was genius.

I loved all the tracks, but my easy favorite goes to Soup of Sun. Absolutely immersed while listening to that one :)

The music fits the theme is a lot of ways - progression, sound, and the time signature thing as well.

Production quality is fire, and while the drums sound a bit spacey I think it adds to the atmosphere in a nice way.

Overall, excellent work, and thank you for your submission!

Very cute!

I liked ballerina the most :)

Just finished listening.

I enjoyed your ost quite a bit! The silly and whimsical opening was so warm, I really enjoyed it. The band master had a ton of character to it! same energy throughout the rest, I really really like the warm and goofy tone you carried through the entire work.

Then the last two tracks almost remind me of missing home, as if the party that never ends is great and all, but our MC realizes they miss their family, even after all this time. Almost like the plot of Where the Wild things are!

Great work, and thank you for your submission :3

Cool! Just finished listening.

I enjoyed the first track, although I think it could benefit from being much louder.

The second track was pretty cool too! I would've enjoyed more variety in the composition and writing, and maybe a bit more on the mixing side.

Thank you for submitting!

Thank you for listening :)

Wow, excellent work. Like, chills dude

At every turn my ears were graced with new and exciting sounds, textures, tension, and resolution.

The production quality was damn near perfect throughout, and the progression and melodies left me in awe.

I think my favorite was Race against Time - I'm a huge fan of normal, everyday rhythmic sounds being incorporated into music and with your theme of time pressure this was the group of piece's centerpiece for me.

Loved listening, thank you for your submission!

yippeeeee :3

Very very cool!

Just finished listening. I think my favorite track was corrupt zone. I reaally enjoyed the ambience and the ear tickling soundscape.

I also loved Dead Village - big fan of the percussion work.

Throughout the album's tracks, the writing feels connected, which is wonderful. Your work across the tracks feels extremely cohesive, and in terms of writing my favorite piece was the crow's theme. Very specific energy with that track :)

Thank you for your submission, and great work!

Ahhhhh I see. Bad internet is a curse :sob:

Of course! Thank you for putting time and energy into making it, I love the way it turned out :)

Why hello!

Listening to your OST reminds me of several other soundtracks I love quite a bit. The soundscapes, writing, progression, ambience, and overall mix quality are all key points that I love about your work.

You had a bunch of quite interesting moments throughout this - the first one was in "They found you". The sound selections and other stylistic decisions are really cool, and while interesting also fit very well in your music. Really reminds me of the Undertale ost lol

My other favorite was Isolate. excellent soundscape, gripping progression, beautiful melody, just great ambient work all around.

Amazing work you two!

Yeah, the time requirements make it to where you need to make concessions in order to finish. It sounds amazing regardless :)

Hello! Just finished listening to your 3 piece run :)

My favorite moments of your pieces were the title track, and the portion around ~1:40 in the finale track. I loved the emotional and sinister energy you conveyed in the Eryndor track, very cool! The title theme felt very sincere and intimate, and would have a very solid place as a title screen to a JRPG. :)

Overall, I appreciated the different types of orchestral work in each piece, especially the throat singing in the Eryndor track. Caught me off guard, and fits very well!

I think I would've liked a bit more cohesion between the tracks, which is a challenge I'm still working on and learning too.

Overall, splendid work!

Very cool energy from your 7 track run!

I think this ost would have a really solid place in a game with visuals similar to the image you have as your album artwork.

I really enjoyed the ambient retro compositions of Wrecked Crankshaft and Purified Fuselage. These tracks had the most unique soundscape and I enjoyed them the most out of your album.

The songs also were very fitting to the theme you were going for - overall, great work!

HOLY SMOKES. This is INCREDIBLE. The composition, soundscapes, production quality, textures, storytelling, everything is incredibly done. I loved every second of it.

Reading through the description of your vision for each step also brought a new depth to the storytelling already present in the music.

Each track also flows effortlessly into the next, creating a very cohesive feel in the story.

My favorite track is Gaia, the textures and melodic content REALLY spoke to me.

The only negatives I could speak about any of it would be the drum and noise mix in Thunder - which may very well have been a stylistic type of choice that I don't resonate with as much. I also think the mix for the last track, Nkumo Atoll, could use aa bit of work as well. But those are slightly nitpicky in nature for the most part - overall the quality over the full album shows a distinct mastery of many aspects of music production as a whole, and I felt tugged along for the ride in a way lots of other submissions fall short on.

Fantastic work.

Hello!

Just got done listening to your ost. I loved it!

My favorite track was the second, "Boardwalk Arcade". The goofy silly vibes really remind me of a time years in the past in my budding relationship, and that same translation of idea into music really describes well the other tracks you submitted.

Very good work!

Hello!

I'll lead off with this - this track is a BANGER. Grasps that disco/house/dance vibe by the kahones and DOESN'T LET GO. I was grooving in my chair listening to this, and the groove has STANK.

Definite points for vibes alone. The four sections are clear cut but blend very well! Takes me back XD

I think I'm missing some sort of story basis for this music, but other than that your submission is excellent. keep up the great work, and GROOVE ON!

Hello!

Just finished listening to your OST.

Firstly, I'd like to lead off with my impression on your general skill with the mix. Overall, the quality of the mix is pretty stable throughout the track, so props to you there!

I could definitely see this being in a game, bringing a nostalgic summer season to life in the background.

My favorite track was July's end, I'm a sucker for the vibe you brought with that one :)

Some things I was missing in the track would include more variety in instrumentation, as well as some more melodic consistency with motifs and things of that nature. Nevertheless, the tracks stand alongside each other very well, so maybe that's not necessary after all :)

Good work!

First 5 across the board

really good gameplay, music, content, control, polish, and theming.

reaaaaally solid work, i would play this on steam lmao

really unique idea for the theme! I like the effects on the text, and the sfx.

gameplay could use a bit more work, or maybe I'm just bad at typing lmao

Sick gameplay!

The graphics and sfx remind me a lot of Realm of the Mad god - that's a good thing lmao

music is fun.

couple criticisms - enemies spawn on top of each other, which might not be intended and makes it a bit muddy

it might have been nicer (at the cost of less fluid-looking gameplay) to have the arena and viewport be stationary, in order to make the enemies, bullets, and overall scene more visible.

thank you for your submission :)

skipping the story line would make this infinitely more playable :)

love the music, gameplay is nice

Cool idea on hp usage for movement. I think the keybinds would be better on WASD, the webpage moves the way it is now.

really fun gameplay, need more enemy types.

i still don't know how the repair mechanic works lol, but i had fun anyway

gameplay is the most important in games, so definitely points there.
