Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the Code Myself but the Assets and Music were from asset stores.

Nice job! It got pretty intense at time when all of the fake enemies swarmed you. Fun game!

Pretty fun, I like how well the sound effects, music, and graphics all go together. It really contributed to the atmosphere.

It's a really fun game! The only downside i see is that sometimes the real aliens end up on a rock, forcing you to restart, but it didn't happen that often

Thanks, glad you liked it.  Yeah I had that bug too and that is why I made sure I have a restart button in there though that was a quicker way to fix it in game jam hah

Really nice graphics and quite fun to play. One thing I'd do is put a little explainer saying you have to find the enemy spawners to advance but other than that it was really fun.

Thanks, Yeah I had it on the list as something to add but it got cut as I ran out of time. I think that I should have maybe had it higher on my list of things as it has made it hard for people to understand the Fake theme with the spawning aliens.

Decent graphics, It took me a while to figure out I had to kill the spawner aliens though.  That could be a bit more clear.

Hey I beat it!

The game was simple but solid, everything seemed to work.

If you're going to keep working on it, definitely add more guns. If you haven't already, check out Vampire Survivors. There's a lot of cool stuff you can do using the enemy ai you've already got.

Thanks, Glad you liked it. One of the ideas I had was that each spawner would drop an opal that you could then use to upgrade either your health, your weapon speed or your weapon strength at the end of each wave. But couldn't pull that off in only a week haha

Thanks, Yeah once I added that in it really helped with letting you know that the summons ones were just fake and controlled by the real ones.

Yeah, I think I needed a splash screen at the start explaining to kill the Real summoner enemies as then the fake ones that it had summoned also disappeared with it.

Thanks, yeah I think I needed a title screen explaining it as it wasn't totally obvious  but when you killed the spawner ones it also killed the fakes ones that it had spawned as well

I don't really see how this fits the theme for the jam. The music is also a bit repetitive.
