How does you game fit the theme?
The enemies disappear when you don't look at them as if they're not real, it's kind of a psychological-horror game
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Footsteps, light switch and ambiant sound were taken from copyright-free libraries
Everything else was made from scratch

Awesome concept, I love the "flavor texts" before you start the level. Our game actually starts with the lines "I don't like this place." so this was fun to see.
I did figure out a way to kind of "cheat" by only facing the walls and never having to see the monsters that way, not sure if this is an intended strategy or not.
Impressive work, I had fun!
Rated!, really moody game, good atmosphere! not a fan of horror, but I appreciate the effort on this one, good job!
will you help mine rate too?, I really appreciate every single one! Thanks! XD

Damn, this was legit scary! If I had to say one thing, though, I think the character rotated too slowly in relation to how fast they moved. So either make them rotate faster, or move slower. For the rest, I loved (to hate) the sound the monsters make, and the ending was brilliant
I really enjoyed playing your game, graphics are really cools and it fit perfectly the theme ! I think controls and game-play could be a little bit improved because I made the entire game walking backward (I have been stuck sometimes in tight corridors with this technic)^^ Adding a background music would be a good Idea too. Well played for making this game in 7 days !
Feel free to try my game too :)
This was a great little spin on some of the mechanics from the game Darkwood. I really liked the opening menu and the use of light to make text appear. I think the game could have been improved with some corporeal enemies to avoid too as I was mostly able to glance away from ghosts and cheese past them by hanging to the walls. I think a mixture of ghosts and physical monsters would have made the levels more challenging.
I really liked the use of tight corridors in the later levels, though it felt a bit weird that you could back into the ghosts when they weren't visible as though they were physical objects. The ending was a nice touch - good game!
This game's incredible! The sound design of the monsters is great, and the art of the whole game makes it a scary experience! I loved the ending too, got spooked by that! Overall, great job!
You basically took the ghosts from Mario and inverted them, cool idea! This makes up for different gameplay mechanics. I found myself quickly rushig past these creatures but also luring them out, so I can pass the door. Very interesting. Also, consistent artstyle and serious, eery vibe. Good one!
Fun spooky game! I love horror games but at the same time, I'm always hiding my face/looking away, which was perfect for this game because I could just turn my player around whenever spooked! Like another user said, I mastered the art of walking backwards haha
Awesome! Made me master the art of navigating and walking backwards and I found my natural reaction to jump scares actually assisted me in this game as I would flick the mouse away from what ever scared me, which is very unique!
Really enjoyed this. Loved the sound design, liked the idea, the art was good. my only real problem was with the characters turn speed and I thought the final level would go on a bit longer but apart from that this game is great
I really like the game though I wish moving around and turning was easier, the in between levels texts were super well made and I loved knowing where enemies are but literally not being able to look at them.
Very cool game! Great concepts! But it's difficult to move accurately. (don't know if that's your intention) Good work!
