How does you game fit the theme?
Originally supposed to be a game of a bird in a simulation. Constraints resulted in a main world where you collect until you enter the virtual one for a race.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code myself. The visual assets I used are listed.

Hi! Great concept and great graphics. This is a really original approach to the gamejam.
Regarding the game, I found the head of the bird appearing in front of the screen to be a bit distracting and the controls could be improved (maybe you just needed a bit more time :)).

I got all 13 cups. Game was cool and I like flying really high, but it was really hard to land where I wanted because I couldn't change my horizontal momentum without flapping.
Thanks for playing! And yeah you're right, all the control tuning was done in the last day and it's not perfect. I should have upped the strafe value. Adding a different landing key bind was something I considered too, something to just kill your momentum.
Good job on making a mechanic that is easy to use and hard to master. I have only complain I have is that I managed to clip through wall during the challenge levels. Everything else was perfect

I love the concept but I was terrible at controlling the bird flight which was frustrating. Some polish and tweaks to really nail down that mechanic will go a long way.
Sorry you got frustrated. I should have left more time for testing and tuning the controls, I'll keep it in mind in the future.

Flying is a marvellous experience. I do wish I was better at it in this game. Good thing my RAF flight instructor isn't here to critique my form.

This is a pretty interesting concept for a game. Bird flight could definitely use some polishing, but that's to be expected. Nice work overall -- I'd definitely consider playing a game from a bird's eye POV when you're actually the bird :D

Hey! Interesting game, fine mechanics once you get used to it! (kinda got lost in the skybox hahaha)
I personally enjoy a bit more audio but good job with coding everything!
I'll keep that in mind, certain parts were pretty hacked together haha
its a lot of fun to fly around and look at the houses from birds perspective :)
the controls were wonky at first, but after i got the hang of it, i went to the virtual world and my PB is 42.9
Id suggest making the interactable penguin and bear a bit more obvious, i almost missed that i can talk to both of them.
Good idea on the animals, never got to polishing them much. Controls are a big jacked, but I think they can be reworked into a fun low-button high-precision game in the future if it's made less difficult. o7
