In what way does your game fit the theme?
The player brings chaos to a small Ohio town with their super strength.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code, my friend drew some sprites and made some music. Some sounds where from freesound.org.

This game really fit the theme !!

Nice game! It fits the theme really well and I had a lot of fun throwing the explosive barrels everywhere. The controls could be a bit more responsive though.

That intro was so gooooooooooooooood.

The moment i saw that Red barrel spawn again, i started smiled.

This game really fit the theme imho. Throwing stuff, especially explosive barrels is fun. However sometimes when throwing other things, they didn't always do damage as expected. Also in some more open area it was sometimes hard to hit, and if you have a few cops on you (who can shoot in any direction) you die fast. Still pretty cool game, nice retro audio, and the intro was nice touch. Good job!

I love the intro!! its so goood and well done, i also like the explosion effects of the gameplay. I wish there was more mechanics involved but this was a good shot!

Definitely interesting approach to chaos! quite buggy grabbing and throwing things yet exploooode everything! Release the chaos!

This is Herman Sussman and this just in: this game is pretty good!

I enjoyed myself quite a bit, and the Herman Sussman easter egg was superb. Well done. The controls took a little getting used to for two reasons: it wouldn't always pick up when I wanted and it wouldn't throw exactly where I wanted.  But for a jam game, it was pretty well done. I liked that it told you what points you got and what for, making repeated runs more strategic. And I noticed you respawned barrels after a bit. That's a smart call. I could see someone easily getting stuck because they couldn't find a barrel or something.

Overall, very well done. Excellent entry for a game jam. Congrats on finishing!

Great idea, It's fun to destroy everything with explosions, I would like a better response in the controls, I had a bit of input lag. Anyway, great job!

Cool game! I loved just causing a ton of chaos, and the premise is really cool. My only problem is that the controls are a little weird. Also, just wanted to know, what engine is this in?

Developer

Thank you for playing! To answer your question, it is made in Unity.

Good way on hitting the theme of this Jam, enjoyed throwing a policeman into a wall lol

I loved the idea of leaving a mess behind and make my way through the city.
My only recomendation would be: what if the blow up stuff flies to you (up to the screen).
I really enjoyed it, good luck.

Lmao I loved the intro screen. Did someone voice it or did you use some text to speech program?
Also, you should have diagonal movement instead of just vertical and horizontal. Its actually pretty easy to implement. Heres the code I would use for movement:

Vector2 moveInput = new Vector2(Input.GetAxisRaw("Horizontal"), Input.GetAxisRaw("Vertical")); moveDir = moveInput.normalized;

And if you need to get the Vector2 for your mouse for shooty shooty stuff, just use this:

mousePos = cam.ScreenToWorldPoint(Input.mousePosition);

Thank you for playing! Herman Sussman was voiced by an AI my friend found, (https://uberduck.ai/#voice=cave-johnson&mode=tts-basic). Also thanks for your feedback on the movement! If I ever polish the game for a re-release I'll implement it!

Cool game! really fits the theme!
The controls are a bit hard to get a hold of but with some tweaking i think it would perform really good!

Very fun, but the grab mechanic was a bit finicky. I love the idea and the intro cutscene, and the music is really cool. Very fun idea, maybe make a post jam version with a couple bug fixes and some qol changes?
