This is a great game idea and great use of the theme! Good work!

It has a great potential, the story is intriguing.  Apparently, being a morron doesn't help... but it's funny x)

Stats actually do nothing, you could have gone for a persuasion, wits, etc roll for the dialogue tree. Also you should add fights after the jam ends !

Cool work on a dialogue tree! Please add fights!

Nice game, it's quite well made, a intriguing story and has really great potential, hope you developed more as you said.

Great concept, really fun to play rpg-type game here! With more story and gameplay elements that could be super-fun, keep up the great work!

Some of the text dialogue was fun to read but overall I think this game needs a bit more work, you show stats for the characters but does it actually mean anything? also does it matter which characters you recruit and which ones you don't? the map looks really nice but the whole story and dialogues need a lot more work.

There are a lot of planned features, which were too big to create in this short time. There's 3 different endings based on the amount of recruits you get.

yeah I get that, making a game in this ammount of time is not easy specially in a 1 person team, the game has good potential and I'm sure that with all the planned features would be a lot better.

cool game! Art work is fantastic & it's a really innovative take on the theme!

in terms of gameplay, it's really just reading and clicking in a "choose your own adventure" style. While I think having different endings adds replay value, all you're doing is talking to the different people in town to recruit them. Maybe actually having some strategic combat at the end with the characters you recruited would make it a little more fun because then the player would feel like "oh maybe I could still win against this beast", even if they really can't. But overall, great job!

Developer

Yeah, that all is in the planning table but simply wasn't enough time for this jam :) Thanks for the feedback!

*How much for the job?* *It's fame and glory!* *I could use some gold..., no one is gonna hire me anyway, you can count on me* I've enjoyed it, the music and art are great, though i didn't manage to gather the full party and the monster chewed me and townfolks into mush), here is my rating!
