In what way does your game fit the theme?
In my game you play as a "bro" in a gym trying to help his other "bros" get stronger by boosting their stamina and extending their workout times.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, all code, music, sound effects and art were made by me.

I love the way you incorporated 2d sprites into a 3d game. And its cool how you took the theme literally. Music and sound effects are also good especially the sound effect when one of the bros gets exhausted. The only issue I would say is that when there are two bros left, I could basically go on forever, but I called it quits at 5 minutes. Altogether, this was really fun, and I hope I could be as yolked as one of those dudes one day.
Nice idea... And the camera feels nice. The energy bars can spawn very close to the people so the game never ends...
The smell of sweat and iron is just dripping out of my suddenly crt monitor.
It's impossible not to fall in love with the protagonist. That face, that walk, those gestures...
It's nice, that bros are called "lives" in hud.
Some balance tweaking would do good: when I had only three bros alive it became so easy that I could keep going forever.
And something's wrong with the game size. I can go to fullscreen only using itch button, and even then the game is cropped from top and bottom.
lmao love this game, it really fits the theme so well, because they are literally getting stronger, together! I liked the graphics of all the bros lifting, and the game was pretty easy to pick up. Is there anything stopping me from letting all but one of the bros die and just spotting that one forever? (besides my heavy conscience) hilarious game, good entry!
lol I see you figured out the mlg pro strat. Yeah I had originally wanted the spotting to be something you did to keep the level going while you tried to complete another task, like re-racking weights or something. There's probably a more elegant solution like not allowing the protein bars to spawn near the player, but hind site is 20-20. Thanks for the constructive criticism, it really helps!
I played this game with a ridiculous grin on my face the whole time. I find it hard to describe, but there is just a certain "bro" charm to this game and it's simplicity. A bro needs to help a bro out to keep their gains up. the 2D characters and props in a 3D setting also give it a very unique style and atmosphere making it stand out, in a good way.
Only negative was me failing the bros and letting some of them die. No it is not a negative, I failed myself and my bros.

Funny idea bro! Like the 2.5d style of graphics. Maybe it would be nice to pull the camera back a little to be able to see more of the dudes lifting to see who's in desperate need for a spot.

Super simple and fun little game idea. I love the music and the visuals. For me I found it a bit too difficult to keep the bros alive. But overall an interesting and pretty well made jam game.
