High quality game here. Artwork and pretty much everything seems to be awesome. I like the recoil effect. The jump function is confusing in the beginning but i guess that was your intention. Respect.
I love that freeze time mechanic! if the enemies spawning in is a bug you should embrace it! i got humbled real quick when i tried to rush the game
Great stuff! The game is well thought, fun and well designed!
Couple things to make the game even better though: add some music, add screenshake, sometimes the red enemies don't get afected by time freeze

I liked the weapon leveling up mechanic and the time stop. Some background music would be nice. But I understand there's not lots of time in a game jam. Well done!
The weapon improving by killing encourages players to rush into combat which is awesome. The movement felt decent but the jump feels floaty. Also I don't really like the dialogue appearing everytime I respawn and the delay after death (which apparently I can still shoot) . They really slow the game down.

I do know that I can skip dialogue by pressing A. But still I find it kind of annoying. I dunno, maybe its just me.
The game play is really smooth, but I didnt understand full relation with the theme however I liked to play your game! Nice Job!
Thanks for the feedback, totally agree with what you've said the story which is the main link to the theme needs to be polished and fleshed out.
A very fun game to play! the mechanics work very well and the difficulty is well measured. However I must admit that I did not really understand the story and the relation with the theme. So finally I think it’s a game that works very well in its game design even if this one is not very innovative. Good job ! (some music would also have been nice)
Its my first game with a proper story so its not that great or polished and is definetly something I need to improve on. Thanks for the feedback its greatly appreciated
