How does the game fit the theme?
The core game mechanic is the player's risk, which they can increase to empower their gambling magic, but the higher the player's risk is, the greater the chance of negative consequences.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
None, everything was made from scratch

I really like the unique way the risk was incorporated, the only issue I see is how numbers inflate very quickly.
A creative application of the theme with a lot of potential for interesting scenarios. Nice job!
I liked this idea. The visuals are good. A couple of visual bugs stopped me from going further. But overall, everything is good.
Great concept! The difficulty ramps up very quickly, which made it challenging to progress too far in the game
Very cool idea, really well executed. I got to the penultimate fight and died. I'm going to try again later because it was fun. I like the idea of designing your dice as you go, opens it up to different tactics.
It ran smoothly on mobile, the main dice mechanic was well thought and the dragging around is nice. With more content, it could be realised into a full game. Good job, especially for a solo project.
At first I wasn't sure what I was doing but then I got the hang of it. After some time it gets a bit repetitive and double bosses were pretty hard. Interesting concept and a unique take on the theme. Nice game!!
I love dicebuilders! I like the risk mechanic, but it took me a bit to fully grasp how it worked. I wish there was a reward for getting a natural 20 on the risk dice, but that would probably go against the "risk" theme, haha! I enjoyed it overall, the biscuit-themed enemies are great!
The main mechanic of having a multiplier that can also give you negative effects works really well, but I think it needs to be communicated what possible effects there are and their chances. That would make it more strategic and make negative effects feel more fair, rather than getting unexpectedly hit with -70 hp.
The evil cookie looks amazing, but I have to criticize the inconsistent pixel size. I think it would have looked better with everything on the resolution of the evil cookie.
Great job though, especially doing this on your own!
NOOOOO - me raging when I get minus 70hp on my risk roll
This is a genuinely awesome game, and I would definitely love to see a full version of it. However, I couldn't beat the game as my luck is unfortunately not nearly enough to fight my way through the insanely high damage enemies. My own game is ridiculously hard though, so I guess I can't really complain.
One of my favourite jam games that I have played so far!
Thanks so much for the compliments! I will admit, the some of the risk roll consequences are a little unfair. I contemplated dropping the -70HP consequence to -60 or -50, but oh well. Again, thanks for playing!
I'm a sucker for roguelikes and this is a nice implementation. I would've loved to see where this would go to given more time. The only remarkt I have that it would be nice to somehow indicate a difference between picking a die and actually assigning die to enemies as sometimes I thought I was picking a side and instead had to attack. Overall it was a nice submission!
A mix of Dicey Dungeons and Slay the Spire with a pinch of Risk. I really liked the dice-face system. Well done!
That is... Really addictive! This is awesome, it took me a while to understand the mechanics but, damn, what a great idea and really good realization! I did a couple of runs, but really want to go back :p! Congratulations ^^!
Thanks! I wanted to add a tutorial and stuff, but toward the end of the jam I really just wanted to finish the core mechanics and take a nap. I am considering updating the game in the future though.
Not bad
