How does the game fit the theme?
The game has a ton of difficulties, and the higher the difficulty the more money, aswell as harder attacks which put you at a higher risk of death which lets you buy cool powerups.
Most of the powerups also play into the risk/reward theming (for example: bullets that have a lower range which get you an increased chance of getting hit but in return do high damage)
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The intro song. I made it before the jam, but never used it in anything so I decided to use it in this.
How many people worked on the game?1

Really awesome work on the boss fight! The art and sfx are awesome. Though I wish it was a bit easier to unlock the upgrades cause right now event tough it gets harder it's essentially the same fight three times before you can get anything.
Awesome entry, nice work!
Spider games are guaranteed hits! Loved this one. Congrats.
This was a really well done bullet hell. I am taking notes from this.
loved this -- aesthetics and sfx were en point!
This is such a cool game! I had a really nice time playing it and I don't know why really but it kinda reminded me of Megalovania, probably because of the art style. Other than that really nice game! :)
This is a really cool game, very fun and replayable. There were some really clever enemy attack mechanics for a shoot em up with seemingly infinite movement. Eyes hurting mode delivered exactly as promised haha. Well done!
Playing eyes hurting mode at 3am was really something, but hey, you gotta farm that money somehow
Really well done shooter! The concept of having the same boss fight but each time with different tweaks and small changes made to it is really clever and fun! The modifiers in question were all nice and fitting too, there wasn't a single one which I would consider bad (well, maaaaaybe the unstable one was a bit bad)
Keep up the good work!
I'm really glad I made unstable optional. Because for so long it wasn't and my playtester was struggling so much lol.
Damn that was a lot! It kept coming. Very nice flow state game. I had fun exploiting weapons, AI, and sometimes dodging things. Very impressive entry, good job! If anything, I would've made the menu transitions a little faster. They felt a bit slow for my personal taste.
Keep it up!
Here's where I stopped playing (mostly because I wanted to try other games too):
I love the mouvments between the differents menues
Very addicting game! I noticed one issue (?) : I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but the plasmaballs don't deal massive damage to the boss; in fact, they barely deal any damage!
Yeah, the balancing for those guys are actually horrible. I tried setting it to a high number but it just didnt work.
I might just remove them entirely
Amazing little game with so many challenges. The scene transitions, upgrades, etc. everyhing feels sooo smooth!
bro, the transition, the gameplay, the sound design... its so good, that i even follow you!
This game is really fun! I like that there is a shop to buy upgrades. It really adds more re-playability to the game. The audio and visuals are also really great.. Especially the starting animation. I noticed from the loading bar that you might be using godot? If that's true, How did you change the loading screen to not show the godot icon?
It's in project settings > boot splash
Hey you made a game with a spider too! The backgrounds and animations are super super slick, and overall the game just looks super dope. The furthest I got was the One-hit Challenging, before i decided to move on. I love bullet hell games, so I was super excited to try this one, but i just felt like it wasn't difficult enough, or there weren't enough variety in the attacks for only one boss fight. But the current attacks in the game are pretty cool! Tho it took me longer than I'd like to admit to realize there was a shop lol, it wasn't until i got to the one-hit difficulties tho. Was hard for me to understand how it all applies to the theme thought unfortunately, despite the cool boss fight. But overall, I enjoyed it!
game okay. feels like playing an old retro game. However, there is a little lag in starting the plane. and there is no health bar for the plane so we don't know how much health we have left
There is a health bar actually, It's at the side of the screen. For somereason nobody notices it lol
Wow! This game was awesome! 10/10 foxes 🦊
Motion and animation in this is ridiculous, feels so flowy and engaging! Definitely a lot done over so little time!
Amazing game!! Super impressive how much you got done by yourself within a week. I love the visuals and audio especially!
Yeah I learned Fl Studio for the jam lol. I'm glad you liked the music and audio!
WOW learning a whole new program, creating some incredible audio with it, and making an incredible game by yourself within a week?? Dude, how do you do it? What biscuits are they feeding you??
Fantastic game. Loved the menu and animations. The different game modes were really fun. My only criticisms are that it was really hard to tell if i was actually damaging the spider and minions and that it would be nice if the spider moved a little outside its dash attacks. overall though 10/10
