We made all of the code and music, most of the art, but used the E key prompt from Xelu's FREE Controller Prompts, and sound effects from Pixabay

I had no idea what I was doing lol but it was an interesting experience. The music is pretty good. The art was great as well but I wish the UI had a little more work put into. Feels like one could go really in depth with the game and come up with the most optimal run or something. Good stuff.
This game is super cool and really addictive! The mechanics of the lightning rod are really clever, and I love how the art style creates such an engaging atmosphere. The music also adds to the overall experience, making you want to keep playing. Congrats on the great job!

Took me several tries to win but I really enjoyed it! The gameplay was quite confusing at first, since I had no idea what the lightning rod and fire extinguisher were needed for, but I got the hang of it after a couple tries. Some things I was still not sure about at the end, e.g. what upgrade paths mean and what that thing in the left of the lower deck does. All the upgrades (except maybe the scrap collector) felt powerful and pretty well balanced with the progression of the game, which is difficult to do! Great job :)

Pretty fun with some good depth. Took me way too long to realise you could go below deck, but once I got there there was a lot to discover
Nice concept! Feels a bit slow though and the shooting quite unfair. It would play better with some feedback when you can't shoot or upgrade, and having faster shooting IMO

cute and charming! takes a while to get used to but once you get the hang of it it's pretty cool! the art is good. the music is great. i did get a bit of lag but that didn't take away from the gameplay. its a pretty decent game.
Charming game, pretty good old school aesthetics and sounds. Nice semi cosmic song that is not annoying on loop. Takes a bit to understand but feels good when you do understand. Nice job.

Really like the idea ! I still haven't figured out what the thing left of the ladder does or if it's possible to repair my boat but the game is really fun and cute ! Well done to you all ! :)

You can upgrade it to check for lightning. I only did the art and not much testing so i don't know if it works.
An upgrade named "protector" can shield or heal damage dealt to the ship.
Aaah i got the protector but didn't level it up since i thought the best defense was a refracting laser beam annihilating the bigger meteors... my bad !
it took my while to understard what to do, but it was a lot of fun after that!
