Cute game, and I like the atmosphere created by the assets you chose. For me, it was far too much standing and waiting around - I wished as the player I had something more to do beyond waiting for my energy to charge.

Cool labyrinth! I could see a bit easily but I love the bat theme and the music was cool!

Nice game, very smooth with cool Super Hot vibes! There was a couple interesting puzzles in there. The audio design was great too!

Addicting, simple game loop and nice music/audio! It was very easy until suddenly I got smashed lol

Hell yeah, this is awesome for a huge vaporwave fan like me. This jam has been very kind to the synth enjoyers. This game is awesome - charming, funny, oozing personality, and controls smoothly. I did get stuck at the button mashing part (just not fast enough for the last "truth") but this game is awesome and the soundtrack/audio design rules!

Beautiful music and really immersive audio with bonus ASMR! This game controlled very smoothly!

Really nice audio design! I was a little confused at times how I was supposed to be using the instruments, but it looks and sounds lovely! My game also froze on a level and I had to restart.

Nice job on the soundtrack! I really enjoyed it!

Addicting entry! Very chill experience. Sometimes I experienced an issue where one of my tools would be consumed but not placed, so I had to go to menu and back in to reset the level, but this was easy with the load game feature. My favorite detail, and what really kept me playing, was the fact that the soundtrack evolved with each level. And this is coming from a fellow synth enthusiast - I was bopping my head as I played!

Awesome jam entry! Lovely graphics and art style (looks like we got some Hyper Light Drifter fans?).

Great mechanics, chill vibes, I could easily see this being expanded 3x the length for some great puzzling. The stats at the end were a very nice touch!

This game oozes personality and is really polished! I did eventually get stuck on a puzzle I will need to come back and try to solve. BUT I loved the spell casting system, very unique. The music and art was very charming. Nice theme interpretation!

We all love a nice flappy bird game! The connection to theme was unclear to me, but cool entry!

I love the visual style, the concept, and the synth music is great (coming from a fellow synth truther). It did feel like sometimes the "beat" to shoot on was out of sync with the music, or perhaps the timing is really precise. In any case, cool entry and nice double interpretation of the theme!

Really cool for a first ever game jam! The sound waves hit the perfect mix of sight/blindness, and I loved the ambient audio.

These kinds of games are always addicting to me. Idk if it was just on my end but I couldn't hear any sound/music - I think this kind of game thrives when it has some juicy breaking noises. Physics felt pretty satisfying though!

Very stylish game! The movement was a little wonky at first but I started to get the hang of it. I loved the obstacle variety and the music was a lot of fun too! Nice entry!

Ahh this activated my middle school nostalgia...stick figure wars with my buddies, lined paper, and that "S". Awesome! The music and art rules! It was fun playing with the different weapon types. It was a little too easy overall, it felt like it didn't matter what weapon I used ultimately. If you were to expand this, enemies that are more immune/vulnerable to different weapon types would be a fun addition!

Insanely ambitious and polished! It oozed personality and had an interesting gameplay loop. I like how it naturally escalates, where the player is made to track more and more rules, but all of the rules are accessible from the start. Extremely repayable too! Soundtrack and art are awesome.

Though the execution could have been a bit more elegant/forgiving, the concept is really cool and I enjoyed the music/art!

Really cool unique idea! As a big card/board game person, this was an awesome mashup of genres you'd expect to conflict with each other (but worked really well together). I definitely want to see a more fleshed out version of this with more clarity and readability. I'd love to see more mechanics and synergies in the cards as well, perhaps ways to chain together combos and generate more energy. Of course, it needs a ripping fast soundtrack too!

Easily one of my favorites of the jam! The art style, music, ominous atmosphere, enemies, and narrative really did it for me. It had a great escalation of threats, and perfect length for a game jam. This is also one of the coolest interpretations of the theme. I liked that the player is what wards the enemies off. If I could change anything, it would be tightening up some of the enemy behaviors and level design. It wasn't always clear to me how to get past the imps, and even the enemies on the wall there were some frustrating moments where I moved an inch too far one way and knew there was no way to turn around without getting all three spirits following me eaten.

Anyway, excellent job!

I kept dying for unknown reasons BUT I will say I can see a lot of work and care went into this project. The 3d models are cool, there are moments where it's fun to control the cars, and there's a cool system of leveling up/multiple cars with different stats. And as a musician, I appreciate that you made original music for this.

Unique gameplay loop and chill experience! I enjoyed this. I wish there was a little less walking downtime between each scene because I was eager to see what came next!

Most random interpretation of the theme but love it! It controlled pretty well overall and the art/music was great!

Although this was simple, it controlled smoother than most 3D game jam games I encounter. Cute art!

Cool game and artstyle, unique movement, addicting game loop. I enjoyed mastering the shift ability. The shooting ability was really fun too - trying to line up as many enemies as I could. I wish the enemy projectiles stood out a LITTLE more visually so they could be more easily tracked in peripheral vision, but this was really fun.

Awesome, relaxing experience with the soundtrack, but still has some peaks of frantic excitement. Reminded me of mini metro but in a streamlined jam form. Excellent jam experience with effective tutorial. I would have liked to see one or two levels that forced me to think more carefully about the pathing, since it was pretty clear which nodes needed to be encrypted and what the paths should be from the start of each level.

The controls were tough at first but I kind of came to appreciate them. For such a simple time based racing game, figuring out the odd control scheme IS the game, and I think it captured the indirect control one would have over horses pulling a chariot. Also award for most unique mode of transport in this jam goes to you imo. Nice job!

Unique combat and movement, I think this game is awesome! I didn't ever feel very threatened or in danger, but it was fun chucking train cars at enemies

Simple and satisfying! I think there should be some pressure to keep moving fast otherwise a player can just take it really slow to get the highest score which feels against what the game wants to do. Love the simplicity, sfx, and cool visuals!

Awesome, enjoyed this. It had charm and it was really relaxing. I didn't feel like there was any way to lose so adding some light tension might make it a bit more interesting. BUT it was an addictive little experience with the nice acoustic soundtrack and creative gameplay loop. It felt like a more active cookie clicker-style game.

Cool game! It was difficult to place things with the lag as someone else said, but then during the night phase it was a smooth experience. I enjoyed this take on a tower defense game - acting as a bot and needing to manage turrets/replenish ammo was an interesting gameplay loop!

I'm interested!

Hi everyone - I'm interested in joining a team for this jam. I've taken part in 10+ game jams at this point, here's a quick sample:

For this jam, I'd love to dive into something weird, synthy, liminal, psychedelic. Here' some more ambient music I've made:

Let me know if you like my style and have need of a musician!

Great self contained experience with personality and cohesive art/music!
