How does your game fit the theme?
The game places on a horror genre with "possibly" someone waiting for you at the door or window.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote almost all of the code except for the shaders and VFX (which were from the Asset Store; by Leguar)
I made the models and UI, but the audio and SFX were from Pixabay.

I love the fnaf vibes sm! Great work :)
I love the way that you took the concept and turned it into a psychological horror game. You basically let the player play against themselves and allowed the atmosphere and the mood to take over. The first time through I went the laptop route just to see what would happen, but the second time I made it to the end. Pretty cool!
Thanks again for playing/rating Untangled. And congrats on finishing the jam!
That was the idea I was trying to implement into the game (the reason why the game heavily focuses on the player's sanity)!
Thank you for playing my game though! I highly appreciate it!
No problem! And I think you nailed that aspect. Comes across really clearly. Love the facial expressions too. Just adds to the feeling of everything.
I really like the concept but wish that there was a little more happening. Like maybe seeing things out of the corner of your eye or something. It unsettling but at the same time feels like nothing is going on really. It feels like there was a lot of anticipation built up without a release.
I really like the game and the idea I just wish there was a little more to it I guess.
This is a good explanation about the game's experience! The reason why sometimes the game feels empty is that the game has no relations to stories/lore and/or it's just a look-around game. Thank you for playing the game though!
I saw your comment you left on another page about your concept, and to be honnest I find it quite good. It is indeed very simple but the theme is respected and your work on the ambiance is awesome. I tried (with my friend) to make a similar game (on the mood more than the game design) but yours is really clean ! You can be proud of it ! ;)
The only point I noticed is that the computer was totally useless during my run, I just had to light the windows and lock the door.
The computer only decreases twice the "roommatearriving" time (than the expected original 5 mins) for quicker gameplay (with the cost of your battery) so it sure is useless if you only keep an eye on the window and door and wait for 5 minutes :D
VERRY SCARRRYYY :(((
but really good made, and coool audio :)
creepy game!relly enjoy it
Good game! I liked the sounds and the graphics. I didn't understand the computer because it lowered the battery so I lost. But then I beat it xD.
Great graphics.... I stayed on the computer :D and it kept knocking :D friend never came.
Got some fnaf vibes! Knocking really scared me at the first time haha
Terrifically creepy with excellent graphics and a clean UI. Captures a FNAF-like vibe perfectly. A bit more guidance for players would be ideal, but overall, a thrilling and enjoyable experience. Great work!
A bit too creepy for me lol, great job there. Also nice graphics and ui! Very clean
Nice game. It could use a little more player guidance tho.
Really scary man! Love it.
It give me a FNAF sense.
Enjoyable, im bad when it comes to handling anything scary but its good
too scary for me to finish!! but then... what's not scary behind the door ;)
very cool and fun and kinda creepy game good job
very cool and fun and kinda creepy game good job
Very cool ! Makes me think about FNAF a bit, great game !
Well done on this game, i enjoyed it!
Thank you for the kind response! I appreciate it!
I am a mess when it comes to horror games so I'm not proud to say I was terrified every time it knocked the door.
I also have the same reason so that's why I only focused on psychological horror (based on your sanity and mind) instead of the usual paranormal (haunted/cursed with jumpscare) ones. Thank you for playing though!
