this game is really fun I loved the enemy design good job
Fun entry! Got to a point where enemies seemed to entirely stop spawning, so I couldn't do much of anything, but I had a good bit of fun with it!
Interesting funny game, I loved the " WTF " concept, just it felt like I could just " idle " instead of swimming, as the swimming is quite fast we " lose " all enemies whiles swimming. Also, I was hoping to catch some birds while harpooning in the sky or do some kind of trick while holding the harpoon and spinning XD
Great idea and love the upgrade mechanic. I'd like to see a greater diversity of enemies.

Like - movement/harpooning mechanics, feeling of speed, artstyle.
Dislike - a lot of swimming around with no enemies in sight and sense of direction.
Overall - pretty neat game.

this game was fun. Could of been more varied. It was playing on mobile and it seemed to work well. Well done on a strong entry. I liked the artwork and the fact u could upgrade again and again to progress.

Interesting game
The upgrade system gives some depth. and the fight with the fish feels satisfying. For game jam time frame it's quite nice, but just a little more upgrades would make the game even more fun.
Also, please, make the fish follow you better when you are far from them (especially in the first wave) or just limit the player movement space, since at the beginning I lost the fish and got softlocked and if not for the comments about the game, I would've left it there unsatisfied.
Overall, the game felt really nice.

Really good game! But for some reason the fish stopped spawning at level 3.
Thank you for playing! Also did you perhaps move very far from the fish? If so I forgot to make the fish teleport to you when they are to far from you.. If you wait a bit they should catch up

Ha! This is a great one. In a way it is similar to mine! I liked the upgrades. Maybe you could make it even harder over time. Overall i think this is a great entry. And extrapoints for innovation! Well done.

I agree it does get boring after a while. Ill try to fix that in future updates by adding more items and fish.
Having to feed a sentient, hungry harpoon is some real undersea eldritch horror material. The biggest thing missing is a lack of variety in upgrades, I played until I was around level 15 and felt like I had seen everything.
Yeah... Sorry about that. I may update the game after the game jam is done with more items.
