The game looks complete, would be great for google play. There's even a level editor! Good job!

Penguins must dive into the water to escape predatory seals.

I wrote all of the code. Visual and audio assets were sourced from asset packs.

This game is super fun! I also really enjoy the addition of a level editor. Great work!
I really liked the challenge of the puzzles. I wish there was a tutorial to ease me into how the seals and penguins interact with each other, but it was fun to figure that out on my own too ngl. Really engaging puzzle design too! It's amazing how you managed to make this into a puzzle game with the mechanics at hand. Great work!
I'm a big fan of this kind of puzzle game and I think it could do well as a mobile game. Like the previous reviewer, I also wasn't able to get past the level that looked like an "F" so I don't know if you have this later on, but it could be cool to add more mechanics as the game continues such as breakable ice, other obstacles etc. I had a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing.
I'll add the answer here since it seems to be coming up a lot and there are quite a few levels past that:
Entice the seal on the snow to get closer by placing a fish next to it. Then place a fish on the snow next to that spot, which attracts both seals. From there you should be able to guide the penguin to safety.
The puzzles were fun to figure out! I like how the levels were designed such that the player learns how the game works on the go. The music and graphics were pleasant. I'm stuck on level 5 (the one that looks like an F) currently, but I am looking forward to beating it!
Impressive job. SInce you guys have a grid based game in the works that propably helped get so far in just one week.
Very cute game and a surprising amount of puzzles. I felt they perhaps weren't in exactly the order of difficulty but that' subjective anyway.
Really good job and there's diving so it matches the theme :D 4/5 in my opinion for everything. Definately within my top3 of best Jam Games this iteration.
Hey Solitar, thanks for your kind words!
I have a git repository that I made that has common solutions to problems I see often. It has classes like "OnClicked" or "StringifyMap" which were both used for this jam. Interestingly I wasn't able to reuse any of the grid based movement code from the other project, and I might like my new code better lol
So yeah, previous experience helped a lot with this jam.
Nice little chill puzzle. Only issue I found (not gamebreaking) is that you can still add fish to the ice after the "end of level" window is up (it seems to cap at 100 fish). Overall a great game tho, Good job, I enjoyed it!
It's a cool game (literally XD). I like how there is no tutorial and the first few levels teach you how to play. I seemed to get 3 snowflakes everytime, so I think the rating system is bugged, but everything else was really nice and polished.
I found this game by stumbling into your twitch stream of jam games!
Nice relaxing puzzle concept. Some of the puzzles were a little beyond me, so I got through by sacrificing penguins and settling for fewer stars. I was really confused by the first level until I understood the concept, I kept placing a fish on a tile that led to the seal and penguin both walking onto it, then got confused when it said "level complete" but didn't advance to the next one.
Once I go the hang of it I kept going until there were no more puzzles left.
super cute and chill game, seems to be working without issues. love it!
