Game's Take on the Theme
The theme is integrated through both mechanics and narrative. The player controls a spaceship that spins around a quantum portal, battling spinning and dynamic bosses that try to destroy the portal and break free. The mission is to contain them and survive.

Its really nice that you made multiplayer game, I havent tested this feature but its cool game overal, I like the simple yet effective graphics and the mechanics with the orbit to spin around enemy is nice too, I would maybe only advice to reduce the sound for the moment we spin, I mean since its something we are doing all the time it may sound a lot of time per minute so the play may find it excesive but aside from this all is great really, the game feels solid, Im sorry i couldnt check before the jam end, its a cool game!!

Nice little game, fun to play and bosses are good on it, controls just bit confusing to get hang off but i liked what i played

epic space shark.
The movement did feel a little confusing at times, a boss bar would really make things nicer. With some polishing, this has lots of potential.

I liked the game a lot I felt like the players movement stopping could have been communicated a little more clearly and the boss health was displayed in a health bar. If those 2 things were added it would be perfect. Great game ton of fun!

really enjoyed the unique combat but I do think the mechanic were the players engines break and its harder to move around should be toned down a little bit. its too unforgiving. everything else about the game is great.good job!

Funny art and gamplay! Unfortunately, I didn't have much time to dodge the boss's charges, so the main tactic was to spam the attack :) Good job

I love the sound effects and screen shake hit effects, nice and juicy!  The pixel art in this game is really great as well!

Two pieces of feedback:  I think the boss needs to telegraph when they are going to charge.  Right now unless you're constantly moving it's really hard to avoid.  If you ARE constantly moving it seems like the speed is uncapped, if you hold left or right you'll get up to incredibly speeds and it bugs out the visuals.

Awesome job!

i liked the game, but controls felt unresponsive(shooting and moving seem to not work together),
personally i don't like much when i have to fingerblast my mouse in order to do more damage,
boss could use a bit more of telegraphing when he charges,
game`s simple, but it works with what it has.

Really cute art! It's fun, but the movement feels a bit unresponsive

Really fun gameplay and art! Had a blast playing this game!

(P.S.: If you're willing to I'd love it if you can rate and leave some feedback on my game! This is my first ever jam and I'd love to see where I can improve for the future!)

Cool game and great job using Playroom! (haven't seen many)

The visuals and the audio fit really well together; it's like a retro arcade game! Love the artwork for the bosses especially the shark. I tested the multiplayer and it plays without a problem.

The movement needs a bit of tweaking though. I often find myself spinning around the boss faster than lightspeed. The fire rate is tied to how fast you can click so you can defeat a boss really quickly.

Hey Guys,

I really enjoyed the game! The spinning mechanic is so cool and the bosses feel fresh, and I love defending the ring. Very cool how the bosses spams. The retro art and music create such a fun vibe for me.

I see great talent here.

Keep going!

You've been rated  ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ and I’d love to see more of your game.

I liked the game! I think there could have been a warning to the player that the boss was going to advance towards him, since I had no chance to dodge. Congratulations on the game :)

I liked the sound effects and the art. As for the music, it could be a little highter, it seems like a good track. It’s a simple and fun game, though I didn’t fully understand the controls. Sometimes I could move more freely, and other times when I pressed to move sideways, the movement felt really stiff. But overall, I enjoyed it. I liked that the shots were triggered by clicks, it added a fun action element to spam-click and take down the boss.

I really like the idea of your game and I really like that it was multiplayer, this was the first multiplayer game that I played! The graphics were pretty cool and the music was quite nice! Also, I like how we both used the word quantum!

A very good idea! I really liked the vibe of your game, with a little more polish the experience would be even more incredible! Congratulations!

A truly attractive game. What I like the most is the retro style of the visual and sound. Congratulations for the work and good luck in the Jam.

The tentacle attack on the first boss looks great and makes me think of Lovecraftian monster, really enjoyed fighting against him
