Really cool game! A tower defense with only one tower! Nice job!
Nice concept, but too slow paced. Probably the character should run faster, or a run option would be cool. Great artwork and sound effects.
Concept is simple but cool.
I think that the character/tower are too slow, it would be more fun to feel "powerful" at start and get submerged by the amount of bishops later.
Nice game.
I really like the simple art
Sound effects are nice but some music would be nice too
The player felt a bit too slow to get around the castle and place the tower again and the tower took a while to shoot after I placed it but maybe I just placed it too far or something.
Really great and original idea, keep it up
you definitely placed it too far because the tower shoots immediately
thank you for your feedback though, it's very useful ^^
Yeah, I thought that maybe the tower had limited range. In that case it would be nice to see like a circle around the tower to see how far it can shoot.
I like the sound effects except the walking sound (it got annoying after a while). Also the simplistic graphics is nice but I would suggest keeping the enemies always heading top and not rotate when they change direction. Main menu + some kind of tutorial would be great but overall I think you did a good job :)
alright, thank you so much for your feedback! ^^
I feel like the game could use a menu screen and a tutorial tbh.
Regardless, I really like how the when you start the game, an enemy spawns right next to where the tower starts, acting as a mini-tutorial showing the tower destroying the enemy. That's pretty smart! I like that.
I think the player's movement speed could be increased a bit, but it's not a major problem. The game's very basic and simple, but less is more so it's OK. The game is pretty barebones but I still like it regardless
thank you so much for your feedback, glad you liked it :)
It took me a while to figure out what the hats were all about, but I think an enemy scores more points when he's wearing a hat?
Adding a healthbar to the castle might add some pressure upon the player, as well as some map obstacles to make it more difficult to move across the area.
Lost my castle at 12,700 points, hope that's not too bad. :D
oh yeah those are both very good suggestions. thank you for your feedback ^^
you are absolutely correct, the hats indeed show the player when you can get more points from the bishops
and that's an amazing score, i'm not sure if i myself have gone that far, great job! :)
I liked that you only have one tower in a tower defense game that you can pick up and place in other lanes. Sometimes I could not place the tower, which made it a bit frustrating. I would like to see the current health of the castle as well, so you can know when it is game over.
you can only place the tower when you're standing still, maybe that was the problem? :0
it was a bit weird but Idk how to play at all
you move with wasd and pick up/put down the tower with space :) i'm going to fix this oversight now
ok
it is actually kinda good
thank you so much ^^
Should have included some kind of Instructions, did not know what to do at all :(
you move with wasd and pick up/put down the tower with space :) i'm going to fix this oversight down
Ok, im going to try that again tomorrow :)
Seems funny
