Making the player character a piggybank in a game were you have to spend your coins was a great idea.  :)  I liked how you could definitely feel Gus becoming faster and jumpier (?) with each coin spent. A couple more checkpoints would have made it a bit less frustrating for us old folks, but at least you don't lose any progress when losing a life, so that's a plus.

Thanks for your suggestions - once the jam is over I will look into adding some more details, and I will keep that in mind.

A good idea well executed. Graphics and sound fit together nicely, and once I got out of the usual match-3 thinking pattern I made great progress. Things like the hint system give this some extra polish, too. Very well done!

Love how it builds up pace but never gets quite stressful thanks to its calming music.  :)

It's definitely a bit too easy once you have earned enough credits to put a couple of the more advanced turrets down, but I still kept clicking for the next wave just because it looked so cool.  :)  Certainly an idea to expand upon post-jam.

Great art and sound, and a rather unexpected twist after a short moment of "wait, something's off here..." - well done!

Great visuals, and some well thought details overall (fade between action and cooldown music among others). Definitely enjoyed this one!

Seconded - some of the enemies are a bit too close to the player's entrance point. Having them spawn in after a second, maybe with a little indicator,  would make it slightly easier for the player. Or maybe I am just not skilled enough.  :D

Great idea, definitely something you should flesh out once the jam is over!

Hey, thanks for the suggestions. There are some ideas I couldn't implement due to the time contraint but I might do another version (with much cleaner code  :D ) at some point and will keep that in mind.

Thanks  :)  Indeed, they are annoyingly small, just like their real-life cousins.

Yeah, I have been constantly tweaking their size and speed to keep it challenging. With a bit more time I would have wanted to implement more organic movement from waypoint to waypoint but that probably would have made it even harder.  :D

Controls are quick and responsive, the visuals and UI all fit together nicely.

Also it's one of the few games where I am good with a sniper rifle.  :D

Been following your Twitter account and didn't even knew about the Halloween sale. Purchased!
