The game is interesting. CD to a directory, cat all the files, read them, a new directory is exposed in root then read that. got to happenings and 1977.txt.

Game was interesting, but it was definitely weird.

I don't know it is really weird, i didn't understand

Developer

please, tell me more. what exactly weird? did you stuck on a progress?

I couldn't find how to play the game and i didn't understand what are those white rectangles in my cmd texts? I didn't understand how to play, thats all

Developer

did you try type 'help"? did you try to 'cd mem'? did you have experience with linux console before?

Submitted

I tried those. I never used linux

I wasn't really familiar with command console but I was able to figure it out, the idea of writing a story through a command console is really cool and I enjoyed it

This is very cool--I was NOT expecting what I found in here. I haven't poked around in those archives for over a decade, so playing this felt like stumbling back into an old haunt. I figured out how to navigate through this pretty quickly, but I've played quite a few terminal-style games recently so the methods have been on my brain--may still want to add a hints section to your description to help folks get started, because it's so cool! I explored through all the directories I located, which I think may be the end? Unsure if there's more, or how to make the funky new functions do anything important, but I had a lot of fun testing the theories I had about them and really enjoyed reading through all that I found. Awesome experience!

Cool idea, but I don't know what to do, and the game would really benefit from some sound

I love the terminal style look of this game! I was a bit confused of what I should be doing at first but I think I figured it out. I wish there was some audio or sfx. The take on the theme is also very original. Good job!

Do you need to be able to read Russian to play this game?

Thank you. It's really cool so far. I'll wait until I either beat it or give up before I rate it. It will probably take me a while to find the final directory.

Edit: I don't think I can figure out how to beat the game. There are many different things I can think of trying. Maybe I'll figure it out eventually, but for now I'd say it's a really cool game.
