How did you interpret the theme?
I interpreted the theme as a game where all the power and systems have gone out, and you need to repair them. The entire game is in darkness, and you need to manage your limited power to traverse safely through the dark.

Haha incredible game! It gave some amogus vibes lmao.
Very challenging--I've played about half an hour so far, because I dig the minigames and I NEED TO KNOW WHAT'S IN THAT LOCKER, but haven't come close to finishing it. I hit seven tasks completed, then ran straight into the hostile force and gave up for the time being. I was getting frustrated having to wait for the hostile/corrupted ai thingy (excellent enemy!) to move along so often, while not being sure where it actually was/if I could just walk past it. That did give the game a good horror factor, though, and the game + minigames are really fun, so I'll probably come back later and see how far I can get with a cup of tea, a snack, and a lot more patience!
Oh, I forgot to mention--the visuals are awesome! And I love that you have to return to the control room to sketch out your plans on what to fix next in lights and unlocked doors. Really clever design.
Ah yes, the locker... lol. I'm really happy someone noticed that secret. You won't get the combination by beating the game - you have to find it somewhere in the environment. To save you some time I hit it somewhere in one of my rooms. It's a 3-digit numerical password. Good luck if you come back and try to find it.
The not knowing where the enemy was was definitely an issue when I was playtesting the game. I tried solving it by adding the cameras, but I agree it could use a bit more work.
I'm glad you like the visuals! I'm super happy with how everything turned out, especially the shaders. Thanks so much for playing! Really glad you had fun!
This game was so fun and challenging. Somehow it was really scary despite the enemy just being another little robot wandering around. it's clear so much work and thought went into this and the end product was amazing. I didn't manage to beat it, but I had an awesome time playing!
The enemy is just another little guy, but you avoid him with everything you have haha. Really happy you had fun! Thanks so much for playing and commenting!
Quite liked this one! It took a while for me to really wrap my head around but that's in part because I can't read, I had to give the tutorial a few looks, but I got super into it once I did. I loved closing the Bridge door on a hostile signal and mocking it. It feels like a completely new angle on Among Us and I heavily appreciate what it brings to the table and the gameplay loop overall. Feels like it could very easily scale into a full game and I'd definitely buy it!
I think the initial brightness setting screen could use some tinkering--make the right square a little brighter and have the text always show. I had "you should NOT see this" as "as low as it could go without being invisible" and as a result could not tell when I was in an unlit area. Also, I would make the death static sound much quieter, especially with the default settings of music volume at half and SFX volume at full. Not to nitpick too much though, this is really cohesive and is overall put together very well. Good job!
also fun fact, once i beat the game my computer randomly cut its power LOL no windows shutdown no nothing (i am completely sure this is a driver issue and not the game, that'd be wild)
I love comments like this because they are genuinely so helpful. Among us was one of the inspirations for this game. fnaf was the other one even though I don't play it and I included the cake as a reference to portal. I also tried having some references to my first game I made: Project Helix by making them happen in the same lore universe and in some of the dialogue and the secret task (oou secrets lol)
The brightness screen was also a bit of a puzzle to try and solve since it was a bit of a tough balance of everything is so dark you can't see anything, and everything is so bright it ruins the atmosphere. With the limited time I just put some limits on it and hoped for the best haha.
For the sfx I 100% see where you are coming from. What I should have done was also leave it at 50% ish by default. This is a great learning opportunity though so now I won't make that mistake again.
Your computer randomly shutting down is not part of the game... Hopefully it's not a bug I don't know about lol. Weird coincidence though.
Thank you so much for playing and thanks for leaving this comment. It all helps so much!
Oh I'm completely sure my PC shutting off was a bug with my computer. I have an AMD GPU and it's been giving me an incredible amount of trouble, it's possible it failed to cool itself down after running the game and three monitors off an iGPU instead and it just cut power then and there. There's no chance it'd have been a bug, it's on me.
Sound design is tough! I don't blame you for having one real loud sound, the other games I've played so far have all had at least one as well. Glad to have helped :)
Shaders/visuals are well made and it has so many options. I see you put so much effort to this game.
Thank you so much! Glad you like the visuals!
I really liked the static effect!
Thank you so much for playing! I'm really happy with how the static effect turned out. Hope you had fun!
i like it it's really fun trying to manage the lights and the doors and cameras to complete tasks, good job BTW
Thanks so much! I'm glad you had fun!
I really liked all of the VFX and transitions! The game was pretty fun too. Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much for playing!
