Super nice movement and style, great job dialing in the aesthetics of this one! I also feel that this fit the theme quite well. Good amount of enemy variety too!

Ms. Goobo, a nail gun is not NEARLY enough to be defending myself amidst my janitorial duties tsk tsk

Once I was able to get the game in motion, it really was just a continuous onslaught and it kept things reasonably tense and exciting. Controls were well, camera felt so good and fluid, music was fun, and visuals were Real Heckin Good.

Heads up though, the Linux build is missing its pck! Thankfully the exe ran fine and I didn't notice any issues with performance at all.

It's plimbin' time.

Had a lot of fun vibin'  killin' n' harvesting plimbo essence. Although I was definitely a lil lost for a while lol.

man that ripped. i found the mechanics a little confusing, but i think with some tweaks for clarity you've got a really solid game on your hands.

wowowowowowowow. banger gameplay. banger artstyle. banger soundtrack. banger plimbos. banger everything. i loved this so much. a lot of fun.

got to wave VIII until I died but the trailer shows many more weapons I'd like to try out. By that wave it was starting to feel a bit repetitive, though the shooting and movement itself had some nice momentum and feedback to it! Really well done, may come back and try the get further later

not going to lie, was super lost with what to do mechanically, but this is one of my favorite games visually. also that anvil was pretty satisfying to use!

Loved the soundtrack and how the controller felt! I just clocked out and was just havin fun killin dudes, i will say i speedrunned past a bunch of stuff because i was trying to get away then i was stuck in the last room, loved it however, great sfx

Truly the original Goobo Plimbo experience!

Glad there is a plimbo-style game in this jam. I absolutely adore the 3D models and general visuals of the game, it makes it so unique!

I was quite confused by a lot of it. Then I realized it worked like cod zombies (which I love).
Balancing is likely needed though, as shooting the same few plimbos for as long as I did was not really satisfying.
The game also robbed me of my Blower when I picked up the Thrower, after which I died.
So you might want to make clear to the player that I can only have 2 weapons at a time.

I believe this game would feel a lot better if
1) the generators lasted longer
2) plimbos are squishier

and of course a better balancing of SFX / music
(I like that the Settings exist, a very big plus, but the default should not be what it is.)

Really good looking with potential to boot.

Pretty incredible that you made all of this in the 10 days, especially all the level design. I think this game would've been more fun if not for the power theme of the jam honestly, the cod zombies style game but with unique weapons and good movement is a great idea and the art is phenomenal but keeping the generators powered kind of gets in the way of using the fun weapons and exploring the cool map. Your writing and game style reminds me of the Arcane Kids.

humor, schmovement, INCREDIBLE aesthetics, SETTINGS???

we are all love plimbo

That was pretty cool; unique weapons like the thrower, and interesting enemy ideas! The gameplay loop is more unconventional so I didn't realize upgrades were still active or what they do because the crank stopped moving, but everything seemed polished that was the one thing that wasn't as clear. I think you're also using a preset/plugin for Godot for the options which I realized I should have done as well for jams lol.

sweet! love the aesthetic, and the resource management/keeping generators running thing was pretty engrossing

Very enjoyable game that I spent much longer playing than I initially expected.

I can definitely see the inspiration from CoD Zombies style of games, but with the addition of resource management. A game where you die in the first three waves on your initial attempts, but soon can run plimbos in circles until the game gives up or you have to get off because you have things to do in the morning.

Despite some bugs, it was overall a fun experience and I look forward to seeing if it gets developed further.

Goes hard. I enjoyed the thrower a lot more than i probably should have. And you are right, the blower sure does blow, but so does the bower so riddle me that.

There are some minor UI bugs, such as the text not disappearing, I still have NO idea what any of the upgrades do, nor whether having more power at once is helpful beyond upgrades, but hey. I had a lot of fun slaying some plimbos, until a monk kicked my ass twice in a row.

I agree with the other people, the plimbos have way too much HP, and it's just kind of slog to kill them off.

In the end, I don't think I explored the entire map at all, because the monks are way too good (pls nerf) and sometimes the goofy little dudes just spawn on you when you move.
