This is a great game! The environment looks so amazing and I love how you decided to have multiple levels instead of one long level. The gameplay is pretty fun, loved dodging those candies :D
Hey. I recorded a video about the Beginners Circle jam and included your game in it. I enjoyed playing your project. I love how simple and pleasant it is. My final time is 368 seconds. I did not find any bugs or issues so far. Great job. If you want to cut your game out of the video, let me know. However, if you like the video, I make similar videos every day. I will be happy if you subscribe. Anyway, I enjoyed playing your game.
I'm not even going to share my embarrassing final score, but I did finish it. This was really good. You really balanced the tension between enjoyable and challenging. I did not want to stop until I completed the game. Two pieces of feedback:
1. I would probably not start the timer until the player has pressed spacebar. I didn't realize until later that there was a different button to pause the game, so it would've been nice to allow the beginning of the level to take a breather.
2. Something about the left/right movement is a little off. It's like the character stays in the left/right position a bit too long or something. I don't know if I've quite put my finger on it, but there were definitely times that I thought I was out of the way of an obstacle, but I still got hit. It could also have been because I was bad at the game, but figured I'd bring it up just in case.
thank you for playing and thank you for the feedback! for the timer, you are absolutely right, i guess i didn’t really notice it when i play tested so definitely should fix that, for the movement, what i think you’re seeing is i have the camera “stay behind” a bit, and when you stop the camera quickly catches up. i did this cause i thought it looked kinda ugly without it, however, if it’s causing gameplay problems i’ll address that as well
399 seconds. This was surprisingly long! I really like this game, it is fun and the controls feel super responsive. The difficulty progression is very well balanced and each level felt unique. Also, the levels were just long enough so they didnt become frustrating. The 3d models are really cool, especially the chocolate. The only thing I would maybe change is that the music dont reset when you lose. I had a lot of fun playing this, nice job!
Enjoyed this game. Really liked the music but wondering how long the loop is since it doesn't seem like you get to hear the whole thing? Played thru the whole game, I believe level 6 felt the hardest. Great game!
Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed it! The music is from a pack downloaded free of the unity asset store. the individual song lasted about 2 minutes i believe
fun with a good level of intensity!! reminds me of the games I played to kill time in class when the teacher wasn't looking hahah it drew me in and kept me entertained through all 8 levels :)
Overall I liked it. The character movement is good, the models look nice. It was entertaining but I could not make it so far.
Level 1 was very fluid, but level 2 had frame rate problems at the beginning.
Also the difficulty increased a bit too fast on level 2. There were pieces of white chocolate too close together and I had to try a few times before I could pass them without problem. Also there were dead ends and had to restart the level. I suggest adjusting the difficulty and allowing player to advance at least a few levels before challenging them.
Once you start the level, the time adds up, but if you restart, the time count is still there (is this a bug?). I expected the time to reset once you crash, because you restart the whole level.
Congrats on your game! I will play it again once the jam ends and see if I can beat it.
Hi Tottori, first off thanks for playing! Second, Im sorry you had some problems.
I could definitely understand lags on the web version as there is a lot of game objects in the scene and it has to load. If you wanna try it with hopefully less lag, may I recommend trying on downloading it?
I was a bit tough on the levels maybe because when I was designing I play tested a ton! and got pretty good at so I might’ve missed the difficulty increase, however I could see it being a problem so I likely will go back and balance the difficulty.
As for the timer, that is no bug. It stays going throughout the 8 levels and if you make it to the end that’s how long it took you to complete the entire game!

All-in-all, a very enjoyable game. Great job.

Obviously, take all feedback with a grain of salt and figure out what works best for your game. You did a great job.
The music is really nice and the whole world looks really nice. Makes playing the game really enjoyable.
glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing!

It's pretty addicting and the graphics are fun. However, if there was some way of seeing what level I was on, it would be way more fun.
Thanks for playing! Yeah that’s a great idea if i decide to continue with the game it will definitely be the next feature i add.
For reference the colors of the rock candy could help: green -1, blue - 2, purple - 3, yellow - 4, pink - 5, orange - 6, red - 7, gold - 8.
