  • Its a top-down low-bit free moving Killer 7, and while content-wise it isn't that robust, it's doing enough interesting things mechanically that it feels both unique and immersive. I actually wanna see a more fleshed out version of this.
  • Great concept, would love to see it fleshed out a bit more

really cool concept! nice visuals too, just a bit inconsistent. the mix of manual reloading, top-down movement and first-person aiming works great for this horror setting. I think the reloading is too forgiving, as it skips over empty chambers automatically — you could double down on survival-horror dread with more unforgiving mechanics that require a “realistic” amount of fiddling.

I kept dying to some invisible enemy I couldn’t shoot, and I didn’t find much replay value as the content seems very limited — but that’s expected for a jam game. great work anyway, just a bit rough!

Such an interesting game! The whole concept of reloading and aiming makes it so interesting with the top-down mechanic, I really enjoyed this entry!

Would definitely love to see this expanded upon and adding a bit more polish and it would become a sellable concept!

The idea of turning reloading a gun into more than just pressing a single button is something we need to see more of in modern games. I'm a big fan of the aesthetics, UX and atmosphere, but it would be nice if you could reload your gun when there aren't enemies nearby, unless I'm missing something. Overall a great experiment in alternative shooter mechanics!

This is really creative, I’m a big fan. I love how much stress you’re in when you hear the clicking of being out of bullets while a bunch of enemies are chasing you. There’s a lot of thought that needs to be made as to which bullets to use when, and keeping track of how many bullets are in your gun at any one time.

The graphics are simple, yet they serve their purpose well, and honestly it would’ve been hard to keep track of what was going on if there was any more colours or details, especially when you’re glancing back and forth between reloading, shooting and running around the overworld. Sound design was simple too, but I could tell exactly what was going on.

I would love some sort of story, an explanation of why the world is like this and who the protagonist is, but I thought it was a really fun game.

This is such a cool concept... The tutorial was very appreciated as I was quite lost at first, but got pretty blown away when I understood how the mechanics work. Atmosphere fits quite nicely.

Dash is broken in my browser (could be the doing of the omnipotent shared array buffer), although I don't think that really hurts the experience too much. Not a lot of places where I felt like I needed to dash.

The switching bullets for different enemies was good and made things a little more complex. I do however hope you develop this idea further after the jam into a bigger experience and narrative. I'd be interested in seeing where you're able to take this!

This game is super cool. The style is great, I love the reloading mechanics, and the music was good. Sound Effects could've been less repetitive but that is very hard to accomplish in jam scope lol. I think the game could've been a little faster too, but it felt well balanced like it was. Overall, great work!

I think It's nice. At some point enemies disappeared and couldn't shoot them. Music is good.

Assuming I haven't missed something, the content is limited to some respawning overworld enemies and loot crates.

I don't mean this to sound diminishing though. I was so excited to explore this concept further! You have something incredibly special here. A full campaign with anything above a half decent story and this will be a masterpiece.
