I can't even turn lol, mouse sensitivity is so low. I'm sure its fun since others are having fun.

Sadly I died on wave 3, but I liked it lol.  Might go back and play again to get the assault rifle.  Things pick up pretty quickly!  Don't wanna get stuck in one area.

Really good creepy atmosphere and zombies.

Developer(+1)

Thank u! the rifle is so much fun compared to the pistol u really should try it haha

I enjoyed this a lot. The models look great you did a great job. I see people are mentioning the sensitivity but I didn't really mind it a lot. Of course it would be better if you could adjust it but I thought it wasn't that bad. I will definitely come back to this once you implement multiplayer and adding more weapons post-jam. Looks really fun especially if you play it with friends. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank u so much for playing and for the feedback! This project has me excited I have so many things to add but the multiplayer is really slowing down my progress haha, glad u didnt find the sensitivity that annoying

Yeah implementing multiplayer is a pain in the ass hahaha. Keep it up though, looks promising!

Visually i think you did a really good job at giving off a creepy ps1 style. I think adding a bit of fog would add to the feeling even more with these textures.

The zombies dont seem to move faster as the rounds progress so i started to run around trying to find them so i can get to the next round.

The sensitivity is an issue i see other people saying and I agree. It would be cool to see what other types of weapons you can add to this. It felt really good to upgrade to that automatic gun upstairs.

Developer

Thanks I tried my best lol, I made all the models in blender it was a lot of work I'm glad someone commented on the aesthetic!

I didnt have time to make the game progressively harder cuz if I wanted to balance the difficulty it wouldve wasted a lot of my time which I instead used to polished the features I already added.

Even I agree with the sens issue haha I fixed it, and yeah I'd love to add more weapons but I need to rework the weapon switching system, im currenly working on adding multiplayer first after that ill add more polish and more weapons ofc

Thanks for the feedback and for playing!

Nice! ^^ my final wave and cash \o/

Honestly I feel like I could have gone longer but I'd been playing for so long I started being sloppy just running around haha ^^ had a lot of fun playing! :)

Also I put the lever on the thing but im not sure what it did?

Developer(+1)

It turns the power on (the door of the stairs is unlocked using power but ill add more functionally to power after the jam)

holy shiiii thats the highest score ive ever seen someone get LOL glad u liked the game

I love COD zombies and would've really loved to play more of this, but the mouse sensitivity really was unbearable. I had to drag my mouse across my mouse-mat multiple times to turn around. There is a sensitivity slider in-game but it only helped a tiny bit. Kind of a shame :(

Any hopes of fixing the sens post-jam?

Developer(+1)

Ofc ill fix it, im working on adding multiplayer to the game so rn everything is broken, but once I implement multi, it'll be really easy to fix the sens issue :D ty for trying anyway

The good old days of COD Zombies, now THIS brings me back.

Nitpicks:

  • The mouse sensitivity could be bumped a bit higher. I had my game settings and dpi settings set to max and I still found myself dragging my mouse across my desk.
  • The rounds and zombies tend to be pretty slow; I feel like zombies should be a bit faster as rounds go higher.
  • There's a sort of "lag" that happens throughout the game. my character and cursor would randomly jitter to another direction/location.

However despite the nitpicks, I had quite some fun with this game! Nice job! :)

Developer

Thank u for the feedback, someone else mentioned the sensitivity issue, definitely an easy fix, and I can make the game progressively harder (zombies have more damage, spawn faster, attack faster...etc), and for the last part I have no idea how to fix that tbh I've seen it happen lol

Thanks for playing!

The sensitivity was a bit too slow, even at max settings. It was a nice attempt at CoD Zombies! If you could fix the sensitivity issue I would definitely give it a full playthrough

Developer

of course! I can increase the range no worries thanks for playing :D

Yeah, the same problem for me. But the game seems cool
