That was the most random interesting experience I ever got in this game jam :D

I really like this game! Your attention to detail and immersive sound effects pulled me in to the point I was startled when the story took an unexpected direction. I loved the surreal turn of events and how those areas contrasted with the battlefield. Awesome game!

Thank you for playing :) I'm glad you enjoyed it

What  a cool entry! one of my favorites, I don´t expect to be in another world in some point lol, I was in medal of honor mode, really feels like psx game, awesome graphics, mechanics, music and sound effects, impressive that this was made by a solo developer, really great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much, I worked so hard on this it's very encouraging to hear nice words like this. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Wow, what an ambitious project to tackle during a game jam (especially since it was your first 3D project), that was a ton of assets to make and wire up in a game. Kudos! There were so many nice little details in there, I especially like the sound design (the battlefield ambience was spot on) and audio effects you used (the backwards voice bit was creepy). I'd suggest adding some feedback when you get hit and when enemies get hit so you know a shot connected, but other than that I really like the art and overall visual vibe of this one. Nice job!

Developer(+1)

I appreciate your kind words. The hit feedback thing was in my to do list but I unfortunately ran out of time so had to leave it as is. Thank you so much for playing :)

Fun little game. The mouse sensitivity is just right, not to fast not to slow. Nice voice acting too. And that twist! It shocked me!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing :)

The visuals reminded me of the 90's in a good way and I had some extra fun just walking around the hills. It's like the 90s show Reboot, or the Simpsons 3D Treehouse segment, where I just want to explore these low-poly environments. And I liked the details with the other soldiers, how his head rotated and followed you moving around the room, and the other soldier doing CPR.  Great attention to detail on both aspects.

Overall, this was cool and unique!

Developer

Thank you! Yeah I thought those details would make the game feel a little bit more alive. Glad you liked it :)

i can clearly tell this was inspired by Twin Peaks and I love it so much. With the red walls, patterned floor and the reversed speech.
I wish that it was longer!
Also wasnt expecting to instantly kill my brother with my rock. so strong
Great job!

Developer

Thank you so much. I had so many more ideas for this but I joined the jam four days late and had to shorten it a lot to finish in time. Will definitely try and add to the game post-jam.

I had no hesitation taking the rock to the brothers dome haha. Good game

Developer(+1)

Hahahah, thanks for playing Dustin :)

Interesting idea with pretty good visuals, the story feels kind of like 2001 and I assume the backwards talking is inspired by twin peaks.

Developer

Thank you. Both 2001 and Twin Peaks were huge inspirations for me :)

Could you make a Linux build? i tried running it with proton and wine but the game wont boot :C

Developer(+1)

Hey I'll build it for Linux right now and I'll let you know

Developer(+1)

I just added the Linux build. I hope it works, don't really have the means to test it :/

Submitted(+1)

It worked without any issues! Really neat game, i loved the weird talking backwards and the interior design of the ship ;) (i feel bad for the brother :,c )

Developer(+1)

I'm glad it worked. Thank you for playing Cranile :)

I forgot to comment on this yesterday! I really love this game. It captures the nostalgia of the N64 and PS1 fps games really well. I loved the twist and I would absolutely love to see this made into a bigger game! As a lover of 2001: A Space Odyssey, I thought of so many amazing paths a full game could go down!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much. I was hugely inspired by 2001: A Space Odyssey (and Twin Peaks) when making this. I had a lot of ideas for the game but I had to shorten it so I could finish in time. Will definitely try and add to it post-jam.

Submitted(+1)

I can definitely see the Twin Peaks inspiration now. I'll be waiting to see what you do!

Great job!  The graphics are perfect.

Thank you :)

Awesome game, I thought I was playing an old school Medal of Honor, really liked how the graphics looked. And the twist at the end was very interesting

Developer(+1)

Thank you. I was inspired a lot by Medal of Honor, glad you liked it :)

This is great ^^ I agree with the other comments, a perfect short story that doesn't need improving imo. well made! :)

nice weapon, the beginning reminds me of Medal Of Honor my favorite PS1 game and vibes Serious Sam, my favorite game of all
Developer

Thank you so much. I was heavily inspired by Medal of Honor for the shooting part, I'm glad people are noticing :)

I got surprised by the twist! I loved the voice acting, and like the other commenter said: You made an interesting effect by reversing your speech! I appreciated the Cain and Abel reference too (if that's what it was). Good game and I hope to see more from you! :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you you so much, glad you enjoyed it. And yes that was a Cain and Abel reference :)

Super impressed you talked backwards for that one part.
