The art is very good the gameplay was nice I liked the little touches such as the birds flying away when you get close and other things like that.
This was insanely cool!! I really dig the GBC esthetic + RPG styled gameplay, but I felt like the fights could have had a little bit more polish (smaller/slower, delay between attacks, etc), but even the way it is, it got me SO surprised to see it hahaha
This is the first game I’m giving 5 stars on each rating, it was actually outstanding!
My suggestions if you are planning on expanding it…
Don’t take my words for granted though, it is your game! I am really excited to see more!!!

Love the artwork, it's a fantastic looking game! The music also really fit it well. Similar to other people, I wasn't sure what to do when I got to the baker but enjoyed the lead up to that point. The crows getting spooked was a really nice touch too.

Anyway, great art direction, and the overall idea is great, but I can't help but notice that I can't seem to get past the baker, assuming I'm meant to even get the info to get into the church from him, he mentions a monster, but the only one I can find in the overworld crashes the game. I'd really like to get through though...
And I feel that Carmilla walks a little slow, maybe just a tad faster...

realy good graphic and story. sometimes attack didnt work. Nostalgia hit me right now cause this game reminded me of Undertale.

Really beautiful art, great music, and very interesting combination of gameplay styles.
Found a couple of bugs here and there, mostly NPCs reading debug text or repeating dialogs that belong to a different NPC, but once all those little details get fixed you have something really amazing here. Excellent job!!

Great art, top down overworld and sidescrolling combat is not a thing you see that often nowdays. the game did crashed during the day when I collided with one of the overworld monsters (shell looking sprite to the top-left of the church). but besides that one thing, once ironed out the bugs, I can see thing being an interesting little game

I LOVE THE MAIN CHARACTER'S DESIGN SO MUCH, the premise was really engaging and I really enjoyed how fast paced the 2D combat was. There were a few bugs when it came to the dialogue sometimes but that's very miniscule, this was definitely one of my favs I've played in the jam so far!

I like the like zelda 2/chibi knight esque encounters but half the time I enter one against the flying enemies it restarts the entire game
