Very cool concept and well executed! I found the passage of time somewhat confusing tho. Some sfx to indicate actions or damage taken would really help

Awesome game! I loved the opening story! The gameplay is pretty sweet too but I didn't find much room to strategize. I think that borrowing more from the tower defense genre and benefitting from different units doing different things could really help this out. I love the grid system and I think with a few extra layers of complexity this game could be something really special, keep it up!
Music slaps. Art slaps. Gameplay is really, really good. However, I think the game could benefit from a couple of things: The "Stay In Square" option doesn't let you click on the square that the unit is currently on, which isn't a big deal necessarily, but is more of a "quality of life" type deal. Also, I wish there was a speed-up button, since it gets a little slow at times. The movement paths seem kinda buggy at times, but I suck at coding movement paths anyways so its fine, and if you don't set target on your units, they will straight up ignore enemies, which I think is probably an oversight.

What a GEM we have here! Absolute brilliance
The game is chill and fun, I love that this game is not that difficult - I have won on every map from the first take, but it's a good thing)) love everything

Come closer little folks, come closer so the bonefire will enlight you faces and my old eyes will be able to look inside your young souls. I'll tell you a story, this one you won't see in dusty old manuscripts, but only in whispers of the old ones. This story is all about the demon king, inside the divine sword, inside the tower, inside the 1-bit Jam game...
Love the idea for this one, a great strategy game, but its a bit slow when the defense phase is happening, especially in levels with more enemies.
Overall, a fun experience, good job!
It's a cute game with nice music, and a proper tower defender!
Nice game, I'd like to speed up things a little bit. Its boring at the defense phase since I cant control anything. Maybe theres some spells I cant cast to help my army. Anyway congratulation!
Neat little strategy game! I agree with much of what Quinten has said below, a little polish here and there and it would be a pretty slick experience. Thanks for putting this together!
Me when getting to the last level: "wait I can choose what the guys do" xd
Reminds me a bit of old Fire Emblem, I like.
UX/UI can use some work though, as people mentioned a proper tutorial, volume & control settings, and "who am I vs who is the enemy" + and don't make people go through the credits & intro every level would be a few huge points to tackle.
Besides that, the music is great and you did a nice job with the art too. <3
Music and Art are phenominal but I sadly didn't understand the game. I just kinda spawned whatever creature looked coolest, did nothing and won all the levels. A tutorial could help
Wow, it seems pretty complicated, it's kind of tough to understand without a good tutorial. Love the music and art
"The developer has not uploaded a game yet..." - there's nothing to play currently.
From the screenshots it looks pretty cool but you can't actually play it rn.
I really liked the opening story... but the grid never appeared for me... :(
