Great visuals and implementation in Bitsy. The audio is quite well suited to the experience. I really liked the color grading and the scene transitions. It felt like the narrative had something to say but it didn't find a way to resonate with me. It was well paced and structured, and the descent to the depths coincided well with the narrative delivery, but it kind of seemed to be less impactful as the experience continued. Overall, great work though!

It was a bit sad, but the story was pretty good. If you want you can play and rate my game too: https://itch.io/jam/-pixel-game-jam-2024/rate/2718966

this game looks pretty chill and relaxing to me but it has a never-ending lope which can be a little confusing at first. I also wish you put some gameplay there too, rather than just poetry. But great visuals.

Simple Game, Great Story

Great story writing, reminds me of a game I played ages ago about the mars rover. I completely forgot where it was. Art style was very similar as well, any chance it was made by you as well? haha

it wasn’t, but if you ever find it I’d love to play as well!

I played the game and realized that something is wrong with the reviews. The story is about nothing, and there is a constant blue overlay around the character.

Inspiring and probably the best usage of the Theme in my opinion! Gr8 work!

great vibe.. want to have games like you

love this

This was different, game is carried heavily by the artwork and narrative. Kept me playing to the end. Not quite a lot of "gameplay" though.

Great visuals. I’ll root for you in the Narrative Design Awards 2024

To be honest I don't really like narrative games cuz there arent many things to play with. Anyway, the story is good and the visuals are nice as well~~

i mean the art is really good and the depiction of god is really interesting...
But it is a game jam, i expected game mechanics in it...

Agree.. How can I rate the game without Mechanic.. Although its so artistic, it is not really a GAME

True, imagine visual novel won game jam.

Very unique and thematic game! Also love the artstyle!

That was like omg experience!

Highly emotive and thematic, with some poetic resonances. However, some of the text is clunky / jarring and it's not really a game - more of an 'experience' or an environmental promotion.
