Can you tell me what causes this kind of bug in dialogue? See screenshot below.

About the bug, tell me if it has to do with reading dialogue quickly and wanting to see the next one early and pressing E again.

If it is, can you tell me what is the technical reason behind this happening? I am really curious about it. I may have seen this happen with another game too, and I was curious about something. What detail with how you might be implementing the dialogue could even give a chance of this happening? Why does this bizarre bug  happen in that specific way when you make dialogue in that way? What detail in dialogue implementation can cause letters to become jumbled or random like that when trying to continue the dialogue early?

I am a total beginner so I'm not sure I would know, but if you really can't figure it out maybe you can tell me how you are implementing the dialogue. If I saw the bug in another game, it's possible that game also did dialogue similar to the way you did it (but I wouldn't be 100% sure on that). Then maybe I could try and figure out why it is and even tell you maybe, and also tell you how to fix it.

I'm a beginner so I'm not sure I could do it, I'd prefer if you explained it to me instead actually - but I may be willing to try in case you really don't know what causes it or why it happens.

I might skip rating this game until I get more time to play it, as I was only able to play the beginning for now. I also was not sure what to do next in the game for now, so I might try again after some time in case it was only because I may have missed something.

Really cute art style, I love the gameplay especially when I got to control the ship. Can have more rewarding visual effect when I successfully catch some fish though.

Thanks, yes I wanted to create more effects, but it was hard for me to get everything done as the graphics took a lot of time.

Art style is very cute, the clouds and scenery were gorgeous, awesome work there. I liked how the ship controls were almost hidden in the art. For some reason I was able to keep fishing after I left the buoy, kept fishing all the way until the end of the game lol. Sometimes stopping in the middle of the green still gave no fish. To me the movement felt a little slow, so while the variable jump height was nice what basic platforming traversal there was didn’t quite do it for me. Congrats on a great entry :)

Nice concept and cute artstyle! Has a few issues but otherwise feels nice to play! Nice work on this!

Here are some stuff i found :

-Skipping dialogue mixes the current text with the next one, making things unreadable

-Its possible to fall in the water before getting in the boat, getting you stuck

- jumping from the sand to the wood platform stops you from jumping until you touch sand again

-the boat can get stuck in the sand if you bring it back too far

still, well done!

Hi, thanks for your comment, and finding mistakes.
I have already solved:

1. A skip with the dialog
2. Added water jumping, which is added in other games

In the process, solving the problem with :
3. Problem with the jump
4. Problem with the boat getting stuck in the squeak.

The art is beautiful beyond words. Unfortunately the ui is half off the visible area so I couldn't understand what I had to do.

So I just jumped on everything I could.

Hi, you should have opened it full screen, hahaha

But thanks for the comment, the adaptation issue has been solved and will come out with the next update
