Nice game! :)

I loved the art,  music and hitting enemies was so satisfying. Good job!

I really really like the Gameboy Zelda esthetic.

Would have like for the different bosses to just drop something, like a gem or whatever, and that if you get all of them you get a "Winner" screen. Also, having the monsters drop health once in a while would have been really nice!

thanks! :) i was actually going to implement that. But I ran off time unfortunately :(

Cool action-adventure gameplay. Love the sprites and animations. Controls are fluid and the "game juice" is there.

The music is a bit tinny--yes, it's true to the 8-bit era, but it gets old quickly. Also, the enemies should drop a heart once in a while! As it is, you have to be incredibly careful about never taking a hit. :)

Kudos on the art style and combat. I especially liked the look of surprise on an enemy when I approach. The only bug I noticed was being able to smack the carrot right after it burrowed, but no issue when moving around. Otherwise, good work!

I like the art and the overworld. Attacking and blocking both feel really good and I like the two enemy types that are here. It will be cool to see what more you do with this.

Movements are really good and responsive, the aesthetic is nice and only thing I could complain about is the music. It's not bad but it becomes grating after a wile, but only beacause there is one short track only. So yeah, as per game description, only thing keeping this from being a great game is that there's so little of it, other than that it work very well for me

Fun game, art is minimal but polished and controls are ok. Love the music! Feels like a NES game.

Aside from a couple issues (fights are not meaningful and can just be skipped, minor bugs) I'd say this is a solid entry. Great job!

Its an overall great game, looks very good and the sound is perfectly fits.
The only two things are that you can just skip the fighting and go to the boss and in the boss I accidently went after the trees so IDK if its a glitch or not.
In all other aspects great game !
