I love the esthetic of the game!
I got stuck on the second level tho, seemed I couldn't put the spirit in the fire, not sure why. You can go have a look at the video on my twitch stream to see the issue. Also, I would have like the character to face the direction of the mouse, to make it easier to block shots. But that's all I didn't like, the rest was really well executed!
Great job! Love the character and the environment. This game makes me want to learn Unreal.
The game looks really cool. It is a bit laggy, maybe you had the same problem we do XD The environment looks great, the char is very well made. I do have a bit of feedback, I think you should feel the combat more. the rest of the experience overshadows it a bit.
I really like what I see in screenshots but I have fps issues (almost 3 fps) so it's unplayable for me.
Hi there, just released a 1.1 version with the ability to select graphics quality at the start and the pause menu (esc).
Hopefully that will fix the FPS issues!

Since it's evident you know what you are doing, I'll give you some suggestions:
You should definitely think about optimizing the game. I have not exactly a low-end computer. But, game runs at low FPS.
You should think about movement a little bit more. For example, when using the shield, the character should follow mouse rotation, to my opinion, so that it's easy to parry. Now it's frustrating, using the keys

I started looking into optimization at the last second but ran out of time :( I'll definitely put more thought into that next time.
I 100% agree with the movement feedback as well. The shield is kinda useless without greater control haha.

Insanely pleasing visually. Some effects are a little overwhelming (fog). The character looks awesome, the scenery is beautiful. There's some minor bugs like UI prompts getting stuck on the screen and some major (but fun) bugs: I got launched off screen on the second scene (I didn't notice what triggered it) and had to restart the game since there no way to reload, or I didn't find a menu. Animations are great also. I didn't enjoy combat as much since the shield only faces the movement direction and the sword range is a little too short. However, the entry is GREAT for a jam. I'd love to see this expand into something bigger.

I downloaded because the gameplay and the screenshots look cool, but I could not play it because fps ~10-20 :( My device: gtx760, i5-4570

Hi there, there is a new version I just uploaded that allows you to tweak graphics settings. Hopefully that let's you try it out.
I loved the feeling of this game. it was engaging to play. I found several times that the E button was not allowing me to pick up the fairy ball, and catching those apples in the basket was a nightmare.. Also the click E notification got stuck on for a long while for me when I had the basket on my head. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. And very nice to look at. I wish that the camera would have followed the character around a little better, I kept wanting to turn the camera to look at things :P.
