Last two days no images appear to be downloading when I visit itch.io?

Anyone else visiting itch.io and not getting any images loading?


Odd tried to upload a screenshot of the browser above and it did not work?

For those that are having issues, are you able to open your browser console or open an image link directly to see what kind of error message you receive?

I can confirm that our image processing service is running, so it’s likely an issue with connectivity between our CDN and your network provider. Without any sort of error message it’s difficult to tell what is happening exactly.

Sorry, it has since been resolved on its own. I wish it hadn't because as annoying as this issue was for quite some days, I would've loved to allow you to provide a definite fix.

I haven't had any problem loading images recently, except for slowness once.

I can't see any game images or user profile images, or play any games. I don't think I can download anything either.

This is my profile icon right now:


Tried both Firefox and Chrome. Every other website is working normally. Seems like some Itch file servers aren't working. Maybe it's a regional issue? As in if they have different file servers for different countries? I'm in the UK.

I can't see the images attached to your posts (actually I can, but only in the editor), but every other image on the site loads normally for me.

Same issue here, also unable to download games, and also in the UK. There’s definitely some funny business going on.

Same here, also based in the UK. No images and no way to download a recent purchase. I have connected from another country (Finland) via a VPN and everything works.

Confirmed VPN fixes it for us too. Interestingly I’m also having issues loading https://gameuidatabase.com/ but that works on VPN as well. Dunno if that’s just me, or if this is a widespread UK issue affecting multiple sites. Fancy giving it a click and see?

(Also we’re with Virgin Media, if anyone else wants to confirm or deny)

Same issue, also UK, not on Virgin Media but on an independent network, and I was able to get images to load by going onto my mobile network.
