If you have comments, suggestions, or want to report a bug, this is the place to do so!

Really like the combat, but you really get lost easily.

Developer(+1)

It's true that the bigger the maps, the easier it becomes to get lost. I'm planning on having an auto-map in the next update, so hopefully that should help :)

i feel like the enemies need a buff to their attack speed.

The little adjustments have made a huge difference. What a fun little game. Can't wait to see more!

I had a lot of fun with this, even if it's a single level. I honestly can not wait to see what comes next in this game. Everything is great here, my only issues are that weapon switching has no sounds and that it's so damn short at the moment!

Simply a brilliant game. I like how everything is all about exploration. And it looks really good. Awesome work

I had a bug in the first level, the first secret room with the shotgun, when I grab it, the sprite doesn't show and it does not let me shoot it also, I can still pick shotgun ammo and everything but I can't use it.

Really nice game tho, keep it up!

Developer

I've heard that before but I never ran into that bug myself. Can you tell me exactly what you're doing and what happens in the game when that bug happens?

Well since my computer is kinda bad I had: Resolution 800x600, Low FOV, Fullscreen, I tried picking it up holding the knife and the pistol and it didn't work both times, I remember that it let me select it and it showed me the ammo and everything but the sprite was hidden or wasn't created.

Developer

So no matter what you do, the shotgun won't show? That's interesting. Thanks for your input!

Dig this a bunch! The guns feel pretty good and entire aesthetic is held together really well. Looking forward to more level and enemy types! Great game!

really nice

Hi, it's not a bug, but i accidentally found this today...

View like someone steal your game.

Developer

Thank you very much for bringing this to my attention. I've reported this to a moderator, and I encourage you to do the same. Hopefully this can be taken care of quickly.

Not going to lie though, I'm confused as to why they did it as there is literally nothing to be gained from it...

It's can be done with downloadable games to share viruses. I saw some cases when original dev's need defending self again enraged players who blame him for blocked PC...

I think it's too more worse case than just a piracy/steal-copyright. But some times devs can do strange things with game hosting, and i prefer to inform well-known dev and confirm incident before warn moderators. (For last two-months i saw three similar episodes with books and 1/3 has been a just another author account on fan-fiction site)

First off really enjoyed this game but when I first started I was unable to move forward, left, or right. The only direct I could move in was backwards. I had to pause and un pause to get full movement enabled. I've been noticing this with a few unity games lately

Your game is awesome and really fun.  Maybe add a map, so the player dosen't get lost. THE GAME IS REALLY COOL. :D

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot! You'll be happy to know that the next update will have a map, as a matter of fact! :)

:D

Really enjoying this and looking forward to the finished version!  A couple changes I would suggest:

-Would be nice if the auto-map showed tiles that you can see through but not walk through.  There are a couple other things it might be nice to see in the auto-map (e.g. health/armor/ammo, showing locked doors differently than regular doors) but the see-through walls are the main thing.

-Some of the stats shown in the level select screen (namely kill count, time, and efficiency) currently only display their values for the most recent run of the level.  Would be nice to be able to see your *best* kills/time/efficiency either instead of or in addition to your most recent ones.

Also, I'm not sure if this is a bug or typo, or if I'm just doing something wrong, but I'm only able to play the first 3 levels even though the main page says this version contains 4 levels (there are 4 levels shown on the level select screen, but one of them remains locked even after I've completed the other 3).

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback! The map that remains locked is actually a secret you can unlock in map 2. You need to find the secret exit, which can be accessed after finding the level 2 security switch.

Played it for the first time, and I had a fun time :) I will say though, and this is because I'm used to playing games on the hardest difficulty, that a difficulty selection menu would be much appreciated!

Developer(+1)

Thanks, glad you had fun! :D

Also, you'll be happy to know that I'm planning to add a difficulty option, as a matter of fact. It's coming in the next update!

Looking very forward to it!

Shortly after finding the chainsaw on the secret level, I encounted one of the big fat enemies in a very tight corridor. As that enemy exploded, it shot me through the floor of the game map and straight down into a dark abyss off the game map just falling and falling until I finally reset. I'll have a video to share if you need to see it in action. It should be finished tomorrow.

Developer

Oh geez, sorry to hear that. I think I know why it happened too. It would definitely be helpful to see it in action.

(1 edit)

Alright here's the video. Just fast forward all the way to the end and you'll see it. Also, sorry for calling it a Boomer Shooter. I know some people don't like that term but it is kind of how people know what kind of game it is so I used it in the title.

Developer

Thanks for the playthrough! That's a very weird bug, but I'll make sure it's fixed in the next update. Thanks a lot for your input!
