I tried it & left a comment about it on your page. Thanks!

Cool game. The AI's pretty good, and I like the lighting. Enemies need to be hit a lot of times, unless I'm just missing out on some upgrade.

Love the demo. Great job!

Simple but creative concept. Cool.

I like watching your stuff. You seem to move pretty fast, which is great.

I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like a fun game where you could use alterations in physics and gravity for different levels and gameplay mechanics.

Cool, I like the glow effect.

Looks cool. I once played a less graphical game that reminded me of it on Ouya.

Yeah, I'm not sure about PMs either - I'm still kind of learning the site.

I used Scirra Construct 3 for awhile but I also use Game Maker Studio. I have a big interest in ARM devices, and I can make games from them with Contruct 3, which is a big plus, but sometimes I like to do obscure things that aren't covered too well by many engines, and Game Maker has helped me better with that focus lately.

Anyway, I'd be interested in seeing what avenue people decide on to talk. I'd probably feel most comfortable with like a small Discord of a few people, but I'm trying to get out there and explore different sites, too, just kind of a slow process for me.

I like the look. Looks rather clean.

I haven't played it, but it looks pretty cool from what I can see. Like early DOS games meets Metroid Hunters.

It's good to reach out to other developers. Doing so is something that kind of interests me, too. Unfortunately, I don't really do Instagram, and I'm kind of under the impression there still isn't a PM box on this site.

My advice is to start a little small if this is your first game, even if it is a Metroidvania game you choose to make. And to try to avoid something called "feature creep".

Cool!

I like the second one.

A game where you're an alien creature that due to appearance, get mistaken for a common household item (soap, shampoo, etc).

Steam Deck is a newer gaming handheld made by Valve that people are starting to get. A lot of the handhelds use Steam OS, a form of Linux. As for whether people who have them tend to be YouTubers/streamers, it's possible.

I like it. Keep up the good work!

Cool. It actually does bring back memories of Earthbound for me.

I like the graphics. Not bad for a color palette of a few colors.

Kind of has a Family Guy or Simpsons feel to the graphics, IMO. I like it.

Sometimes it's hard to put into words changes that one might make to make things better, especially with some projects possibly being works in progress. But one suggestion I can put into words, food for thought, is to maybe try a wackier looking font, something that looks like Vector Art, and see if it goes well or not with the look of the graphics. It might not too, and might blend in too much to the existing graphics, and make it worse than the pixel font you're using. But it's just what I thought of.

1. It could work. You could try it and if it's too difficult that way, you could include keyboard hotkeys.

2. It might not hurt. But as for whether some might consider it necessary... I'm not sure about that. (If you want people with Steam Decks to play the game, it might be useful, I'm thinking.)

Nice graphics and humorous, tongue-in-cheek concept.

I love the concept. Looking forward to seeing where things go.

Some ideas:

-Some kind of shader to voxelize sprites.

-Every time something gets destroyed, it turns to pixel dust or shards. If you go with shards, what if one can collect the pieces to rebuild the destroyed character?

Looks interesting! I like the Atari vibe!
