Had some random idea, to turn the main character into some kind of sorcerer, so the flying bow is actually magic flying bow. On the other hand if it's a sorcerer why need a bow at all.

yeah I would be happy to check the post-jam version out

Yeeeah it's very difficult. But damn it looks good. The main character is just lovely.

Very very cool and unique. It's actually full real game. Though I feel the connection to the theme is very loose. To the other comments I want to add, that maybe instead of sliders it would be interesting to adjust the slopes and players position by actually dragging it on the map, would be fun and intuitive (in my opinion)

Thank you! I worked on music, so means a lot.

Oh damn its a good game. But in it's current state, too hard, for me at least. I played like 10 times and got only to the third night, those flying flames...

Some balancing is definitely needed. Maybe even just adding more lives will do the work. Would be cool to have some music (by the way I really loved the sound effects, almost every sound has some very satisfying click in it). I think the light source should not be fixed in one place, because it works better when you run in one direction, but it is much worse when you run in other direction. Also it would be cool to have some more things to do at the day time. Actually there are probably a lot of things you can add to fill it with content. I don't mean add to make a good game, but I mostly mean like potential is pretty big. Some close combat would be cool too, maybe some traps (setting it at the daytime maybe? or maybe just dropping on the floor while running from enemies). Maybe some shield system, can be especially useful with those flying flames. And maybe not only a labyrinth, some open spaces.

Oh well yeah I know it's easy to fantasize without actually implementing anything, haha, sorry.

Anyway it was fun, I think I replayed this game more than any other from the jam.

Yeah don't worry I was about to try it, just had no time yet

Yeah yeah on web version, sorry forgot to mention. At first it happened after killing the first enemy, and second time I think I was not able to do anything from the start.

Well made little game. Love the visual, reminds me of voxel renders of small cubical rooms, it's always very cute. The puzzle is nice, I enjoyed it. Very good job!

Okay this looks really great. I enjoyed the gameplay itself. Though, for some reason I was able to enjoy in only on third time, because on my 2 first tries I think I got soft locked somehow and after ending a turn I was not able to continue, clicked on everything on the screen but nothing happened. Anyway it does not matter that much, the idea is great, love the voice acting and all the sound design, it even feels tactile, amazing feeling when you just hover the cursor over items.

Wow that's very clever and cool. I'm not sure I can say anything that hasn't already been said, but it's just beautiful.

Thank you!

The fact that flies are gathered at the window is because it's sunny outside I guess.

Thank you for playing! Yeah probably good idea with sliders.

Yeah one is enough. We thought about some scoring system that will take into account the number of saved flies, but were too little on time. All in all,  the possibility of saving more guys is something that makes me try again, at least for me.

Thank you very much for playing!

Yeah they are not very smart definitely. Thank you!

Thank you for playing! By the way how much flies you was able to save max? My personal record is 4, I saw a person did 5.

Thank you very much! The game actually was made in... 3 days. We took too long to think, as usual.

If i'm not mistaken, the glitch was happening mostly when I press two buttons at the same time. W+D for example. And also if I switch to another workspace in my window manager.

Very clever idea. Yeah game can't fit the little area of the player on the page, but I was able to zoom the page/resize the window to be able to see everything. So I was able to complete it.

Got some time to understand the enemies movement, and it is veery enjoyable. Would love to see more levels.

Beautiful little game. Or even like short interactive story. Nice pixel art, when you take the toys it looks very good.

Very nice use of theme. I wish it was a little more easy and straightforward. I try and try to get past second platform and I cant. I really love to control that flower and feel the physics. Would be good to control where the flower is facing while being still. Good idea, it has a lot of potential. And I really want to get further in the game.

I really loved the style of the game. I don't know, I'm weirdly into the artwork. It's really unique. And there is some interesting feelings when you run across this strange world on a long distances, especially on the empty road with lamp posts, and meet these cool weird creatures.

You probably know yourself about text not fitting the screen. And also there is a most part of text is under the floor tiles when you talk to the egg. Would be good to have some sound.

Sadly, I haven't found out how to complete the game. I think I collected all the pieces of the key, the key turned into red/white/blue, but what to do afterwards... Anyway, I would be happy to see more polished post-jam version. Or maybe even a complete full bigger game.

I like the idea, and its really fun to control a swarm, especially cool when there is an obstacle, and ants are going around it. But yeah, sadly no sounds, would like some better visuals. Love the idea, hope you will make a post-jam version.

It was long ago I played something like this. I liked it but.. I'm not sure, I can't get past the wires thing, I think I found wires is the box, but I can't use it. And the name sign-off thing, I think I tried all the names, but it does not accept any. Would love to complete it if you give me some hint.

Also yeah, the text speed is toooo slow in the beginning. And inventory opens very very slow. I may also messed everything up when I came back to the boxes and started clicking all of it, so now I have a pair of nails, but no wires at all.

VERY unfortunate you was not able to finish it.  I basically liked everything about it except that it's unfinished and there's nothing to do, haha.

Think Inside the Box is definitely fits.

I loved the atmosphere, loved controls (it's cool to open/close things holding the button), loved the looks of everything. Maybe only its too dark, and intro text is too long (maybe you should make it possible to move while listening to the tv). Hope you're gonna finish it post-jam.

I even got scared by those red eyes.

It's an interesting concept actually. Original one. Love the idea. As others said it would be cool to make it slower, use different pieces to build the bridge. I'm not sure I got it correctly, but I was able to build only "L" shaped pieces. I guess you had no extra time. Of course some audio would be cool.

So yeah with some more work it will be really a game I would like to try again.

The day/night cycle is very good idea. Looking good also. And music. It's definitely fun to play.

But it's tough! Didn't managed to get past the second day honestly, tried several times, evading web nets is difficult. I'd balance it a little and add a restart button in the game over screen.

I consider the game is completed when you stuck on the exit of level 3.

It was actually fun, the enemies never stuck for me anywhere, their movement is very well made. Garlic traps is just amazing idea haha, never seen it before.

For some reason music started glitching on level 3, don't know how to describe it, like different sounds started to stutter constantly.

Overall very positive impression

Maybe really think about postjam version? I feel there is a lot of potential.

The game felt great. Clever mechanics, enjoyable controls and movement. Sometimes it's a bit too challenging for my taste, but on other hand I can't say it's a bad thing.
I think the game lacks some more visual hint that you collected a power up, because I got stuck a little after taking the snowflake ability.

Overall - very cool. Easily one of the best games of the jam I played

Wow that's really something special. I loved all the mechanic, it's an amazing idea. The timings may need some balance, but it's already very playable and enjoyable.

Add more visual content, some music, levels, maybe different plants that will behave differently and we will have a REALLY awesome game, in my opinion.

Loved the "transform" mechanic. It was fun to shoot. Maybe it's too easy on the main map, though on the contrary the final boss is really challenging, I was not able to defeat it - you can also got stuck in the enemy, especially if you are close to the walls, and there is no way to get away.

I also love the illumination effects in the mini game, and also this is where the real challenge happens haha.

I didn't got what happened but I liked the game. Love how it looks actually. Controls are nice, and coughing sound that happens sometimes when you kill an enemy made me laugh, want to hear it more and more haha. And "Mortis" sounds cool. I also think voice acting is good.

What I didn't like is that you are forced to listen to the first dialogue before starting the game every time, it is really frustrating. And not only last room is unfair, the enemies can run from it to the previous room when you are about to enter.

Overall, not counting that blocker at the beginning, I loved it, wish it had more levels (and more fair)

Completed 2 endings, 1 and 4. Controls are a bit off, I'm not sure about "F" or "E" displayed above the head, seems like it shows in wrong places or something... Though I loved the game, the room changing in the "dream world" is cool. And actually making 4 endings is an ambitious idea you was really able to pull off in a good way.

Wish there were more sounds and maybe more animated surroundings, and yeah some more straightforward controls. Though I'm sure you can do it, just had no extra time.

Nice short game, good job!

Had the same problem with falling off the floor when I first switched the "view", but never encountered it again. The overall idea surprised me, a clever one really! Made it to the exit and it was entertaining.  Robot looks funny, in a good way. Good job!

I was skeptical trying this at first, but actually it was fun. I didn't get lost and I found the keys pretty quickly, but I almost died by the door. The music is cool and I loved the sound when you get hit. And yeah overall love atmosphere.

Oh that's very unfortunate, so sorry for you. I'll bookmark this game to play it post jam if you will fix it.
