beautiful art! well written dialog too! good job!
Thank you so much! <3 <3 <3
Really cool game, cool aesthetic. Pixel art goes crazyyy and the dialogue was SO clean bro
Thanks for playing and for such kind words! Glad you enjoyed it <3
Completed 2 endings, 1 and 4. Controls are a bit off, I'm not sure about "F" or "E" displayed above the head, seems like it shows in wrong places or something... Though I loved the game, the room changing in the "dream world" is cool. And actually making 4 endings is an ambitious idea you was really able to pull off in a good way.
Wish there were more sounds and maybe more animated surroundings, and yeah some more straightforward controls. Though I'm sure you can do it, just had no extra time.
Nice short game, good job!
Thank you so much for playing and leaving a feedback! Glad you enjoyed it! There are definitely plans to add more animations ;)
I do love some good adventure games like Maniac Mansion and Day of the Tentacle and this gave me good vibes like those did. The dialogue was nice and art style. I wish there were dialogue text clicks and a little more ambiance like traffic in the background or nature sounds. Excellent job!
Thanks so much for playing and leaving a feedback! Yes, the sounds are really missing, hopefully we can fix that in the future. Glad you enjoyed it!
I really liked the aesthetic and the theme, it was well put together. The controlls were a bit strange but the dialogs were real.
The problem i had is when you have to find the markers... there is no collisions in the room so I suposed thats some sort of videogame 4th wall trick and started wondering around. I lost myself 3 times(restarting game 3 times) and couldn't find the markers.
I wish I could have finished it because you got my interest, theme fits well also.
Appart from that really good!
Thanks for playing and writing a review! We're sorry you encountered difficulties, we will definitely take this into account in the future and will make the game more intuitive.
Interesting little game. The artwork is great; so much character and the differences between the room in the day and at night kept me interested (and really let you play despite the wild card, haha). I like the interpretation of the theme a lot. I see the idea of an escape at play in this story in multiple ways, and I'd be curious, when I have more time, to play through to get some of the other endings (I got ending 1).
Some of the writing was a little weird, which in a game with this much text can take you out a bit. Just could use another proofread I think; I imagine it isn't anything more time wouldn't fix. I also thought the controls were a little strange. Since I had to aim with the mouse anyway, I would have rather just clicked to interact rather than pressing keyboard keys. I was able to get used to it though.
Overall, really cool little story that seems to suit the theme perfectly! And I can't compliment the lovely art enough. Great work!
Yes, controls are janky, especially with inability to choose the correct interaction with window and pc sometimes, we will probably look into that after the jam ends. Thanks, we glad you had a nice time and we really appreciating your criticism, good sir
