Woah, this is a very underrated entry! Both the music and the dialogue are hilarious -- and so is the little guy. I don't why, but I got some Undertale vibes from that and I love it. Unfortunately, I kinda sucked at the job and they fired my ass :( but I had a lot of fun, so I'll get beg them to rehire me. Amazing work!

It's about a squad of little mushroom guys who lead a revolution against their evil insect oppressors :)
We're always open for feedback, so we'd be honored if you could give your thoughts on this. I'm one of the artists who worked on it, so for me personally, I'd say the character design was my favorite part! But that's for others to judge.

I actually first discovered this via BYTESIZED's stream, and absolutely had to try it -- and was not disappointed! The transitions/animations are SO smooth, and the sound design appears so professional. Not only was the whole experience eye candy, but it also has just the right amount of challenge. I'm honestly pretty slow, so something where you have to react fast and think on the go is very fun. Oh, and the game over quotes made me chuckle quite a bit. Amazing entry, and congratulations! :D

A very charming little platformer! The way the game presents it information is really fun, with the little paper notes between the levels. The movement itself also felt very nice to play, sometimes simple is good. Hope you make more stuff cuz your style is very charming!

happy you at least like what you saw! If it helps the stinger enemy is meant to be dodged (with SHIFT) like the first enemy, while his projectiles are meant to be jumped over (not really your skill issue then). I tried to communicate it during the tutorial but maybe it not the most clear.

I actually wanted to make the strawberry guy slow down enemies, but couldn't add the effect due to a lack of time. Anyways I am happy you enjoyed it overall!

So the idea for this game was kind of a combination of the artist's vision and mine (the developer). Our artist had always wanted to make a 2d hand drawn game, as our previous projects were pixel art, and her passion is character designs. So after seeing the theme we thought that's a great idea to experiment with different designs and personalities, thus came the aesthetic for the shroomling guys.
The gameplay itself was my vision,  for a long time I wanted to make  a turn based game with real time player input (mostly based on my obsession with Expedition 33 and Deltarune/Undertale). One of the things I struggled the most with is not making the game too hard and difficult to get as I tend to kind of get carried away with my vision for the combat, but I think this game is an improvement from my other projects in that regards. Anyways would love you to try it out yourself if you have the time, thanks!

This game is really cool! Though the fight itself did feel a bit repetitive after a while due to the low damage the protagonist deals. The art style is really charming and the music was fun, overall pretty good game!

Such a creative game! The gameplay felt creative without being too complicated. Although I would add more variation in backgrounds to make rounds feel more fresh. Overall I had lots of fun with this one!

The aesthetic is so adorable! This hits especially hard for me, since I love PvZ, haha. It took me a bit to figure out my defences at first (maybe i'm a bit slow), but I gotta say this is a very fun entry. Great job! :D

This game is extremely cozy, making a good looking 3d game is not easy and yours looks really polished. I might play it more later cuz its so relaxing.

It's so adorable -- very impressive how you made it so cozy and cute in 3D! Our programmer really loved it.

Adding a sound effect right before an attack is a great suggestion actually, as balancing difficulty for me is by far the hardest part. Glad you enjoted!

This game's level design is great, controls feel responsive (maybe throwing can bit a tad clunky) and the art style is very cute. At first glance the game looks simple but it uses its mechanics very cleverly, good stuff.

A very cool way to add the little guys theme! I love the idea of saving people while a kaiju battle happens. Sometimes moving people felt a bit hard, also idk if its because of my pc but i didn't have sounds. like 50 people and 60 died btw. Regardless, one of the more unique concepts in the game jam, great job. 

The art style is amazing! the character design for the main guys and the shop keepers are great. Combo system is fun to play with. Maybe there should be a bit more effects when you get hit and hit an enemy. But regardless a very cool game.
