This is Brilliant! Possibly the best submission I have seen on this Jam.

The rules all reinforce the vibe of Millenial Goofballs meets Horror Movie. My favorite bit is the Fatal Flaw table.

You also take care to explain in detail how the GM should approach running the game.

The interaction of Stress, Relationship and Stress dice and house Condition is really good. The Relationship chart is a great role-playing aid.

If you get a chance to check out one of my submissions and leave a comment, I would be honored!

Interesting concept. Honestly it's more like a lite party game than a role-playing game. But the role playing IS technically present ;{)

The judge simply choosing the one they prefer is the premise of Apples to Apples. But I suppose the secret voting method of a game like Balderdash doesn't exactly work for this.

Sorry, I don't want to bash your game, just give my honest opinion.

What I really want to know is, how do you add the Download bar to the top of your project page like that?

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the Jam, and if you get a chance to check out one of my submissions, I would be honored!

This is really cool. I especially like how the game alternates between periods of violence and peace.

I also like the life events chart to roll on.

I also submitted an rpg about very powerful characters trying to protect the ones they love. If you would check out Kiai! and let me know what you think, I would appreciate it!

Thank you and have fun!

Thank you for checking it out!

I will have to add some GM advice. Perhaps on the Itch page.

Good idea.

Thank you for checking it out! I will have to fix that spelling error.

I have been sharing my game using the link from my dashboard instead of the link to the Game Jam. I believe it has really been hurting my ratings. Just so you know, be careful to share the jam link, not the direct link.

Also, if you list your game as Pay-What-You-Want, set the minimum to 5$. Itch.io takes a cut from every transaction and if you set it too low, you will lose at least 40% of your revenue in fees. I know from personal experience.

Some people have also had good luck with putting the product up for 5$, with free community copies. They found that more people downloaded it because charging money subconsciously make people value something more.

I really like how your game mechanics gently steer away from violence and death to imply, but not enforce a more peaceful, vacation vibe. The skill system being split between Professional, Hobby, Area of Knowledge, Fighting and Seemingly Useless categories is a really nice touch to discourage one-trick pony characters. Now I kinda want to play as Julius Caesar in flip-flops and a sun hat!

If you get a chance to check out one of my jam submissions and tell me what you think, I would appreciate it!

This is such a rad design. As a fan of PBTA mechanics and minimalist design, this really scratches an itch I didn't know I had.

I just submitted inspired by PBTA mechanics about jet fighters. If you could let me know what you think, I would be honored!

A very whimsical and charming foray. Thank you for sharing this Whirling Waterwheel of Wonderous Worlds with us!

I especially like how the variables of world, mission, opponent and magic rules give a lot of variety to each world.

If you get a chance to check out one of my submissions and leave a comment, I would greatly appreciate it.

I really like the tactile nature of this game, as well as the aesthetic. My inner child cowers at the thought of mixing different play-doh colors when you defeat enemies (my mother always told me not to.)

I am curious to know how you achieved your playdoh-with-3bit-lighting look?

Maybe making the text larger may help, I had to zoom in to read it. But I understand you have size constraints.

If you get a chance, could you check out one of my jam projects and tell me what you think? Thank you, and good luck!

Thank you very much for this insightful review. I will have to keep these things in mind, especially if I turn this into a larger game.

Yes, the Detective is a shared role, I could have made that more clear in the rules.

Thank you for the graphic design advice, that is something I am excited to improve.

Very trippy ttrpg! I definitely like the aesthetic. Did you do the art of the guy with the sword?

I do feel like the dice resolution system of "Roll, find the difference, subtract your stat and consult the chart." has a few too many steps for me.

The idea that all characters move when one moves, and your actions affecting the dream "mood" is really the innovative heart of the game.

If you get a chance to check out one of my jam submissions, I would really appreciate it!

It is clear that you love history, its really nice to see a nuanced take on the traditional 4x game. The game doesn't have a set end point, but it seems like a nice game to just play as long as you want and find out what happens.

If you have an opportunity to check out one of my games from the jam, I would appreciate it.

Thanks for checking it out! I don't know why I made so many games about heists this jam.

My recommendation is that if you charge for your adventure, charge at least 5$.

This is because itch.io takes a cut of every transaction. If you charge a small amount, practically all of it goes to Itch.

I appreciate you providing community copies. If you could check out my small town RPG "Gunmen" I would really appreciate it!

Thanks man! I will have to run it with my group and see how it goes.

1. Well, howdy, I go by TrueTenno

2. I participated in last year's Jam.

3. Westerns and Shonen anime have been my Muse as of late.

4. I am looking to master the Graphic Design and Art side of game design.

I just checked this out and I think its really neat!

I especially like your use of bolding to emphasis certain concepts, your background art and how spending energy leads to a natural adventure/rest cycle. You can spend a ton of energy on one thing, or attempt a few smaller tasks.

I just released a small-town game called Gunmen, if you would do me the honor of checking it out.

Thank you for taking a look Mr. Dangers!

This is a really fun looking game! I especially like your art, and the rules are all very flavorful.

This is a cool game. I like how the senior only rolls a d4, but has a 25% chance of just succeeding brilliantly.

It's really fun checking out all the neat projects being submitted to this jam.

This is a really interesting game.

My favorite random result is that "you have announced your theft in advance".

I don't see any mechanics for gear, I assume it just helps you diagetically?

One thing that seems a bit clunky is squaring the damage in combat. But that might just be because I am not good at math ;{)

It's funny that we both submitted a heist themed game to the jam.

Best of luck!

Pretty interesting concept. I like the background that you chose, and use of fonts. However, you do seem to have some major spelling errors (e.g. choop versus chop.)

If you would be so good as to check out one of my submissions and give your feedback, I would appreciate it!

Cool Project!

The rewards, books etc. don't seem to affect skill rolls. I suppose I could play them as narrative elements. Or grant a +1 when they are used.

I may have missed it, but don't see when the journey ends?

I would like to run a Magnificent Seven style session of this game.

Thank you for checking it out!

Each class has a Power Pool of 1, and always has at least 1 die. They each have abilities that can add dice to the pool. The GM can subtract 2 dice if an action is risky, but you will always have at least 1.

The Reapers Mind Pool is a little different. You have a pool of points, and can add them when using psychic powers. When you do, any 1's you roll leave your Power Pool until you next regain HP.

Only the Reaper has a Mind Pool.

If the GM subtracts -2 from your roll, you put those Psychic Dice back into your reserve pool, you don't lose or roll those ones.

I hope this makes things more clear. Let me know if you have any more questions!

I want to suggest that if you charge money for something, charge at least 5$.

From what I can tell, people who will pay 2$ will pay 5$. The trouble is that itch takes a cut from every transaction, even tiny ones. So if you charge a small amount, itch gets most of the money, not you.

Just trying to be helpful!

Nice RPG! Just checked it out and I have a few questions.

What size font did you use?

Also, I really like your choice of green font, using 3 columns and Bolding to highlight text.

By the way, you might want to find a more harmonious color pallet for this page. The bright green/bright yellow/dark green is really hard on the eyes, especially with the white image.

Might I recommend very light green border, grey interior and yellow download text?

Anyways, cool project. I hope you can check out my submissions, i am looking for feedback ;{)

This is such a fun, creative dungeon. Stuff to steal, stuff to kill and stuff to mess with!

You really knocked it out of the park with this one!

I especially like the monsters based on little-known real animals, like the Giant Aquatic Spider on page 16.

Approved it.

Sorry for the 3 day delay.

Glad you could use it!

Nifty little tool. Thank you very much!

Your stories are really compelling. So I just dropped by to tell you that you are doing a great job!

Saw your work on the Traveler Facebook group.

Thank you!

I wish your description went into more detail.

I made something inspired by similar themes, if you want to check it out, its free. Rustbelt by TrueTenno

Hey Mat, thank you for commenting!

In my experience, players tend to settle into certain archetypes no matter what setting I play this game in.

One is usually the Law, somebody who enforces the rules.

Somebody is Merchants, they sell stuff.

Somebody is Renegades, lawbreakers, criminals and rogues.

Sometimes there is overlap, and the questions keep players re-evaluating their faction's relationship with one another.

If you happen to play my game with anyone, I would be very interested to know how it goes!

Thanks again for the tips.

Sorry, I was tired when I posted and forgot to check a box. Should work now. Thank you for letting me know!
