Ok, thank you for the additional feedback!

Allowing the player to change key bindings would really be the best option. We will look into adding that after the jam. But we like your suggested key bindings for the standard controls.

Cute, short game! The art style is so unique and, especially combined with the music it feels great. The concept is also very good. Keep it up!

Thank you for the feedback!

We will improve the gameplay in the future.

We have also heard from a few others that the key bindings felt weird, and we want to change them. What key bindings would you prefer?

The controls are very good, and the players move animation fits to the beat of the music so well it feels great just to move around. We had a lot of fun with your game and with a few more spells, levels and enemies this game could be even better.

The presentation is really well done, especially the intro, and the game looks charming. The controls felt a bit weird at first, but after some time, they felt very good and fitting for the game.

Thank you very much!

We will improve the game with a focus on the platforming aspects when the game jam has ended. We are glad that you enjoyed it.

We are a team of two and test out the games together

The concept is good, and the game made fun. We just think that the controls were too slippery on the ice. Especially the jump felt weird when jumping on and off the ice blocks. The artstlye was also very charming and fitting with the music.

This is a cute, cozy game. Sadly, there is not a lot to do currently but if you add a progression system of some kind, it could be really fun. Definitely do more with the light beam mechanic. It fells good to control it and to collect the icons.

We really liked the concept and the gameplay. The music and the sound were also really fitting. A spell explanation would have been nice. We did not understand what the "authority" spell does, and reviving is a bit too easy, maybe it should add a key input per death? But overall a really nice and fun game.

We liked the concept, but we think the game would look better if only one style was used (for example only pixel art). But overall the game is really addicting.

This game is really awesome! We encountered a bug where we trapped ourselves with the earth spell and could not continue playing. But the concept is fun, and the pixel art is well done.

The game looks very charming, but we think a few more details in the background would have improved the charm. We liked the cozy aspect in it as well.

The writing is well done, and the art style is very charming.

The art style looks very nice, and the "death is your girlfriend" concept is an interesting idea. The gameplay was a bit lacking because not much happened when pressing the keys. We think if maybe more happened when interacting, it would have been more fun. Overall, it was nice and felt cozy.

Thank you so much for your feedback and your kind words. We are a team of two and focused maybe a bit too much on the art and story, so the gameplay sadly lacks a bit (for example the enemy Ai like another comment mentioned already or the missing coyote time). Also we think the level length was a bit short, but we had no time and needed to fix some bugs we encountered at the end. We really like your idea with the gliding and will maybe implement that in the future.

The concept is nice, and we like the death form and its speed in it a lot. But we spent some time trying to enter it with space, but that was bugged, so it took a bit to figure out that it was bugged for us. We could not find the last key to open the door on the second level. We dont know if it is missing or if an enemy had it and we were just too bad to get it. But overall it was fun, and the game concept is good to build on.

Ok, thank you for the feedback. We will try to improve the points in the future!

The game was a bit slow, and more variation would have been nice. But for the 2 days, this was really well done and made a lot of fun. We also loved the concept.

Thank you very much for the detailed feedback!
We will look into implementing more complex enemies in the future. Could you please elaborate a bit more on what is missing from the animations? We would like to improve that aspect too but dont know what exactly the problem was with them.

This game is really good. The presentation was well done, especially the eyes appearing when death is coming. We encountered a bug on level 2 where we cast the laser spell, and suddenly death did not move anymore and stones did not break. We are looking forward for updates!

The game concept is really nice, and the game made fun. We also liked the story and writing a lot! The game was just too easy with no turn/step limit, but overall it was pretty nice.

The game concept is really awesome! The game was really fun to play. In one level we could not see at first that there were spikes on the ground because the UI was in the way, but overall a really nice game.

We really love the alchemy concept but did not understand how the game works and when we win or lose. Maybe adding a tutorial and win/lose screen would greatly improve it.

We think this game could be a fun high-score game in the future. We saw in your other comment that you plan to improve the player with each death, which sounds interresting. We think that would be a nice feature. If the projectiles would also spawn from other directions, it would also add a nice touch.

We really liked the concept where you make your own platform with the skeletons of the people, and the puzzles were really good. The difficulty was also very well done, in our opinion. Not too hard to get frustrated, but also not too easy. The jump felt a bit clunky, but it did not matter that much in a game like this.

Yeah, we already tried to implement puzzle elements into the game, but we want to expand on that. We sadly did not have enough time to add complex puzzles yet.

Thank you very much.

We want to expand and improve the game further in the future because we could not implement everything we wanted in the 2 days.

Thank you for the feedback!

We sadly realized too late that we forgot to implement coyote time. But we currently plan to improve the game after the jam has ended.
