The relationship between death and the mage is my favourite lmao
The way they always are like Mage: what?, death: What?.. Mage: ..., Death: ...
This is my fav comedic duo in this jam xD
Gameeplay wise, The spells are nicely integrated and so is the transform into death mechanic and are actually fun to interact with
The controls tho:
- Death feels too fast to control
- You can easily go out of the tilemap using spells
- You can easily push enemies outside of the tilemap and then they cant hurt you
These are some small bugs that can be fixed easily and elevate the experience
The art looks very low resolution and a little blurry, hopefully you can fix that as well. Some more vfx and better sfx for spells could also be better (the fireball spell especially)
Also, I suggest renaming the "Tutorial" button to "Controls" as I kinda ignored it thinking I dont need it lmao. I thought it would teach me that stuff in a boring tutorial level. The art in the tutorial looked amazing too
The game also has viewport resolution issues in fullscreen.
I also saw that this is you guys's first game? Ngl you did u did an amazing job!
This as a first game is really great! My first game was about throwing a fish in a plate xD
And u guys made it in 2 days!! Even more respectable.
Also the acknowledgement of the mage "whats a mouse" was really funny lmao.

I loved the interaction between the wizard and Death. The story seemed interesting, but I couldn’t finish the game—there are areas where it lags a lot or some enemies are too difficult. The game is fun and honestly a good idea.
The concept is nice, and we like the death form and its speed in it a lot. But we spent some time trying to enter it with space, but that was bugged, so it took a bit to figure out that it was bugged for us. We could not find the last key to open the door on the second level. We dont know if it is missing or if an enemy had it and we were just too bad to get it. But overall it was fun, and the game concept is good to build on.
In the final room, there's a small puzzle with a pressure plate — you need to stand near the door with the main body and press the plate with the spirit. But it’s really poorly drawn, made like two hours after the jam ended, so... There just wasn’t any time, and maybe adding this puzzle was a bad idea XD
Yeah, and i made doors in quick pace and forget about collisions with missles, so my friend just shot it trough the door :D

I liked the dialogues and skills of the character, also interesting mechanic with "Death", you can control this character, fly through walls, and pick up keys to help your main character.
I liked the dialogue when you mentioned the mouse controls that part was hilarious 😂😂
