Thank you a lot for such detailed feedback, Ill be fixing major bugs in upcoming days especially related to procedural generation and movement, Ill try to come up with something to track enemy damage too, unfortunately I created combat at the last moment and didnt had time to test it, if you have any good examples or suggestions I would be happy to hear.

Very deep, got my dose of self assertion, thx

One of the scariest games Ive ever played, great job. Id love to see it turned into commercial release.

From one to another

Great game juice, but most of the puzzles are solved by try and error approach, I would love to see more levels that encourage more thinking about the rules.

Game is pretty optimized. but it runs on Unreal Engine 5 and it has its own minimum requirements, it should at least be able to run DirectX12

very interesting but very little is clear : ), I really dig the aesthetic and the concept, my only feedback would be smoother movement and more clear feedback, great job.

Wholesome & cozy adventure, even though I dont remember playing something similiar, maybe Night in the woods, it evoked some deep nostalgy, would be nice to see it polished.

Very charming & at the same time melancholic vibes, very interesting story, I hope it gets continuation.

Very relaxing and addictive game, I like that the game is showing possible connection points, it makes the process much more smoother.

I really enjoyed the concept and its execution, the art style, animations, and sound design are all charming and cohesive. It took me a little time to understand what was expected, but once I noticed the birds had different statuses, things started to click.

Managing the needs of all the birds alongside your own survival creates a satisfying level of challenge. That said, the experience would benefit from more feedback on the player's actions, it’s not always clear whether you’ve successfully fed a bird or yourself, which can lead to some confusion.

Overall, it’s a thoughtful and engaging design. Great work!

Beautiful work, the hand-drawn 2D art and animation are stunning, and the overall aesthetic strongly evokes Gris in the best way. The visual storytelling and atmosphere are truly captivating.

One area that could use refinement is the character movement. It currently feels a bit slow and clunky, which disrupts the otherwise fluid experience. For a game with such an emotional and artistic focus, smoother, more responsive, and slightly floatier controls could enhance the sense of flow and immersion.

Additionally, while the cutscenes are effective in setting the tone, the frequent text interruptions tend to break the pacing. It might be more impactful if dialogue could integrate more seamlessly into gameplay, maintaining the momentum of the experience.

Overall, a beautiful project with a lot of potential, I’d love to see where you take it next!

The game shows great potential, the aesthetic, sound design, and overall theme are all very compelling. I especially appreciated the decision-making system with meaningful consequences, reminiscent of The Banner Saga. It’s unfortunate that you didn’t have time to fully complete the story, but what’s here already stands out. I’d be excited to revisit it if you decide to continue development. Excellent work so far!

This is a truly beautiful and meaningful experience. The concept is powerful, and the execution, from the art and sound design to the overall atmosphere, is flawless. 7 Day Forest feels meditative and reflective in a way that’s rare in games. I found myself slowing down, appreciating the quiet impact of small actions, and feeling genuinely connected to something larger than myself.

It’s a concept with so much potential for a full release. I’ll definitely be coming back to it, I hope it wont shut down. Thank you for creating such a calming, generous space, it’s a wonderful reminder of how games can nurture rather than compete.

The ambient sounds and soundtrack are very well done,  they effectively set the tone and atmosphere. One area for improvement is how the narrative stakes are reflected in the gameplay. While the story suggests a sense of urgency and danger, the core activities (like hunting deer and finding relics) felt relatively easy and low-risk. I’d recommend incorporating more meaningful player choices and introducing survival elements or resource management systems to better align the gameplay with the story’s tension and themes.

Hi, I hope this counts as cozy: https://itch.io/jam/tgcxcoreblazer/rate/3607333

Thx for the feedback, I was worried that people might not find the outskirts, but you have dispelled my doubts.

Thank you for such inspiring feedback, TGC games had a positive influence on me lately, so and I wanted to create something similiar positive for people to experience, I havent played the Flower yet, but its on my list.

thank you for the feedback, I’ll take notes for the post jam version.

So many great submissions, here is ours, we would appreciate any feedback : https://itch.io/jam/tgcxcoreblazer/rate/3607333

Super excited to see everyone games, here is ours: https://shakirovich.itch.io/carry-me

Your game looks awesome, here is our submission: https://shakirovich.itch.io/carry-me

There is an end goal, but its not super strict to give player freedom, and endorsing player actions based on generosity instead of direct commands. End goal is to connect all Generosity elements. Thank you for feedback, Ill probably try to make the end goal more clear, for the post jam version.

Hey Im a bit confused, I got stuck on the first task to create red pills, I grew up multiple red plants and putted them in jar, but that didnt do anything, and then putted them in another flask, but that didnt do anything either, game looks really interesting and Id like to play it, if you can explain the beginning better.

Hey, do you have any past game projects?

Thx for feedback, Im currently developing fleshed out version, so Im open to any constructive feedback to make the game better

Hi, that’s a really good idea, a positive post-apocalyptic game where you restore humanity, civilization, or even something small. However, I would argue that many games similar to TGC’s vision, and even some of their own games, are already somewhat about that. Sky: Children of the Light, Journey, Rime, The Last Guardian, in these games, you explore a world where something has already happened. You play as a passerby trying to figure out what occurred, trying to escape, or simply enjoying the scenery. That said, I agree that not many games have gameplay directly focused on restoring the world. Sky does it to some extent, but there’s definitely still room to explore that idea further.

hardware specs specifically

hey, I don’t have any plans for voiced dialogue right now, but I’ll keep it in mind.

hm, first time see this issue, what is your pc configuration? maybe I can try test it.
