This was very fun to play! Kinda reminds me of World's Hardest Game. I like how there were those yellow bonus points, it gets you to the levels longer. I think it would be cool to see more different bullet patterns, like maybe a variety in bullet sizes. Overall good job on making this game!

Pretty excited about this jam and looking to have some fun

Dm me if you wanna team up!

This is really cool! The physics are fun and reminds me of The Sandbox games. It might be cool to also be able to drop living pixel characters to see how they would react to the environment and chaos lol

Nice platformer game, the art style looks smooth. I like how you unlock more abilities overtime. The music has a nice loop. Good job!
I do feel like the player especially is needing animations (walking, jumping) to make it look more alive.

Hello! You can join the team on our Discord server: https://discord.gg/xHuh2t6q

Hello,

My primary skill is programming and I use Unity and C#.

I can join your team if you're still looking for members?

The concept for this one really sticks to the theme! I thought most games for this jam would meet the theme visually, but this game meets it with mechanics. Well done

I enjoyed this one. The art style and the music works well. I think an inventory system would be very cool to have in this game. So you would collect each volume and key

Cool cool, I like how this game has a story to it :) I feel like a coin counter and some sound effects/  music would top it off

A very simple but fun platformer game, I like it. The slow jump force allowed me to easily manoeuvre in the air and the heavy gravity allowed me to make precise landings on platforms. Nice

Glad you enjoyed it :)

Thank you for the feedback!

In future jam projects I will aim to produce better character control as I believe it's essential for a good game :p

I'll work on it!

Thanks for the feedback! Our 2D pixel artist used PICO-8 to create the sprites for texturing models (roads, pavements, flowers, etc) :)

Yeah, I would've loved to add some music and sound effects like the siren of the police cars chasing you.

🚓🚓

I wanted to implement the jump ability but ran out of time! 😅

I would defo love to see the carrot gun to shoot some carrots!

I love the squash animations for the player. I do wish however that player's controls felt a bit more rigid to get precise movements. Fun game! Would've loved to see more

Wow, thank you for all the info! Sorry for the late reply, been very busy with things including the jam. I will get started with these videos so I can learn how to use blender since I've always been avoiding 3D. Blender isn't very beginner friendly so I want to make sure that I find the right tutorials that teaches you from scratch but also isn't an old version of Blender.. I'll check these videos out and let you know how it goes :)

nice model haha 😂 Do you have any suggestions for how I can get started learning to use Blender from complete scratch? Any tutorials?

Thank you for the offer! But I think I'm going to take this time to learn how to actually make models so I can learn in the process.

Good luck on the ludum dare jam!

Hi, I'm looking for someone who can make simple 3D models since the theme isn't really 2D friendly..

I use Unity, and my latest published project is on Google Play Store ↓

If you want to team up feel free to reply here or add me on Discord: ShadyLeeGamer#7217

Nintendo 64. So it has to give Nintendo 64 games vibe

Cool game! I like how you can lose your keys if it gets hit by the other nano ball, which means you have less control of your nano ball, its a cool concept. I think it would be  better if there was a little tutorial to guide the player. Took a bit for me to understand it.

Thank you for your feedback! I do agree that I missed out on some things to guide the player on. In future jams I will make games easier to follow.

This was a very fun one to play! My score is 259.38 haha. The music suited it as well. I think it would be cool if the portals move in harder levels

Good job on the jam! I liked the concept & music of the game. However, if I spam the keys, I would be able to get scores with no effort. I think it would be cool if the game had a lives system. If you press a key and there is no note there, you lose a live. Lose all three, GAME OVER.

This was a fun one! I loved the presentation and style of this game, it was simple and I was easily engaged. Keep it up!

A very fun game! I loved the sprites, it definitely gave me future vibes.  The only problem I was having was the wall jump controls, they were a bit confusing.. Other than that, this was a good classic platformer game. :)

Hi Xanderwood,

Thanks for flagging this. The Mac support is now available if you're still interested in checking out the game.

First time getting into Game Jam so would love to get some of your input! :)

Please let  me know if you're having  any trouble accessing, thanks!

This is a fun game! The music with the simple controls really got me engaged. However, I think that the blue balls should spawn more often. Keep it up!

Did you download it again, or was this from the old download

Thank you for letting us know about this. The game should now work on Mac too.

Thank you for the feedback! In future games we will use implementation and action phases to give time for the player to prepare for the levels.

Hello, I would love to work with you as a team! I published two games on Google Play Store. I also use Unity.
