As the tutorial says, the only lose condition is placing (locking, in tetris terms) a centrimino in a way that one or more minos (minos are each of the four blocks that form a centrimino) get placed at the outer layer (at the sides of the game screen).

I have played games with this mechanic and gotta say I never thought it would work in a 1-bit game! Great use of blinking pixels, I fully understood what I was seeing at every moment.
The chicks are really cute and the IA is a little tricky at first, but soon you get to think of strategies for each kickoff spot that work 90% of the time.
At first is hard to understand, and it doesn't seem fair that you receive damage even when waiting and attacking at the right time (or am I doing it wrong?). Control system and movement feels really good once you get it right, nice game!
It took me a while to understand how to do it right, as there is no feedback. But when I got it, it was hypnotizing and I couldn't stop playing. The BGM is really fun.
In my 2nd playthrough I discovered that levels 1 to 5 can be completed just by holding right, you should check shooting timing to not let it happen. Also, the hardest levels were easier for me when I tried going non-stop instead of waiting in slow motion for the perfect timing.
That's my best score after 5 attempts :D
