Got potential but needed a bit more to be fun. The idea is definitely good. Wish I could play it seated, didn't seem to allow me to.
Thank you! Yea, I need to add height settings and seated/ standing options if I want to flesh it out. I enjoyed the jam, thank you for hosting!
I enjoyed peering through the fog to try to spot the enemies. The aim on the machine gun was very accurate through the sights. the enemies didn't stand a chance.
I was able to do all the actions one-handed, and would have loved to see some particle effects for the enemies' destruction too, but it's good enough for a jam. I do wish there was a way to reset the position in the world properly in game, as the gun was too far forward and my monitor was blocking it. When I tried to reset, it changed the height (on Meta Quest 3 via Meta Quest Link) so that I couldn't see above the trench. I had to restart the game several times to get it right.
Very fun! For some reason I had no audio though :(
Also, you could do everything with just one hand, 1/10 theme incorporation (Joke!)
I recorded my playthrough
I love the video! Seeing someone else play my game for the first time is awesome! I was taking notes, and I dig and echo a lot of the feedback. A better difficulty curve where it ramps up a bit faster, more SFX on the gun, and haptics on the controller. I can also see that pushing the fog out a little more could leave more room for more targets and enable the player to reload mid-round. Buying or earning lives, equipment like barbed wire and mines, there's plenty to explore. I think it could definitely polish up into an even more fun game. Thanks for playing! loved the video.
