hey! i really wanna stream your demo, but your game has an uncapped framerate and is blowing up my GPU by running at ~1800 FPS. is there a chance you can introduce a vsync or framerate limit option? thanks!

the presentation of this game is simply top notch. it's short, it's beautiful, it does a great job at executing what it wants. i do agree with other commenters that the sharks are a bit too aggressive in the second half of the game (i didn't really feel overwhelmed so much as feeling that it was pointless to try and soothe the fish bc they're just dying instantly) but otherwise this is fantastic

heads up that i had a game crash when i looked at the credits



first game to have me heartily laugh out loud when i understood what was happening.  this is really clever and funny. i think the gunplay is a bit rough (i had a LOT of trouble understanding when my bullets hit or missed) but otherwise this is a great jam game

your dev handle is no joke— this game is quite good looking!

i really like this one and i greatly enjoy how it subverts the typical shmup expectation to be always shooting. my main struggle is that the controls are a bit too touchy. implementing a touhou-style focus button would go a long way towards giving the player more finesse regarding movement

hey this one is pretty fun! especially as i wracked up enough damage to really have to start fighting with the controls. that said i think you could push the gimmick a lot further— it felt like it wasnt until my tenth sprint of charging through every obstacle in my path before i started seeing some serious effects on the ship. even then it felt fairly trivial to wrangle controls together long enough to finish sprints. 

there are a few things i could imagine would help your game out in this respect

  • not just straight shot tracks. having to navigate turns and fight the controls to do so would result in a much more engaging experience
  • some kind of punishment for going out of bounds. right now, it doesnt matter if you shoot wildly off track, since you will always finish so long as you go far enough. maybe requiring the ship to physically pass the finish line to end the sprint would be enough for this
  • possibly dropping the ability to rotate your ship. 100% of the time i corrected malfunctioning controls by using the cw and ccw rotation buttons. they work way too well right now.

i think this has potential for a really neat timewaster sort of game :)

yo dude you GOTTA have some indication of when or where the movement keys go. its exceedingly difficult to play more than a few seconds of this at a time

this is SUPER creative. these puzzles are great! great work

the presentation of this game is top notch. i had some trouble with random maps causing my adventurers to die in seconds and the controls are on the rougher side but this is a really cool experience :)

this is very cute and surprisingly fun! for once i enjoy slippery controls, since having difficulty keeping your character on the platform is the whole name of the game :)

the character sprites are simply adorable. i think the movement and shooting need a bit of touching up and i don't really buy how this fits the theme of the jam. nice work though

hey, this is cool and has a lot of potential! i think you should look to explore reasons to control many robots. i like the explosion physics, they're quite fun

this was REALLY endearing and a clever take on "out of control." great sound design!!

this is a lot of fun! mashing jump and trying to survive when you're avoiding enemies and also your own self is pretty entertaining. i think the art is quite endearing as well. great work
