pob wont rework it... its a game jam, and i kinda like it that way.
thanks :)

Awww thankssssss.
I'd much rather have more space on the sides than putting the player in the middle. When i played the game in full screen it seemed like there was enough space on the sides, i guess i was mistaken. ps: honestly didnt expect anyone to play not fullscreen (i thought everyone went full screen)
" Other than the ghost form which trivializes the entire game" : honestly that was just for those that were really having a bit of trouble. I still wanted them to be able to finish the game.
"other form seems to just " : 100 % agree. i was planning on making the gun shot more bullets everytime u die (kinda like a shotgun). But i kinda ran outta time and forgot about it. U were supposed to progressively become stronger. But ye...
" mspaint intro" : thanks man. :)
"miss-clicked" : did u go full screen. when im in full screen i dont have that issue.
" framerate appear laggy": honestly didnt know that. i'll look into it.
" unlock new ones" : aishhhh. game jam eyyyyy. aint no one got the time for datttt
"Pretty cool game": awwwww thankssss
flash game: ngl had to look that up. cool. thx
yep. that was kinda the idea. if u died too much you'd turn into a ghost and basically become invincible. That way even if you're having trouble you can still reach the boss.
Prob it needed better balancing.
I shouldve made it to where the more u die the easier it gets (aka you get stronger). And that was the initial plan, but i was running outta time and kinda forgot about it ngl.
ps: Thabnksss
very cute concept.
I wouldve like if there was an indication of some sorts that i could interact with smth. Like when im on a sink there is a clank sound, or maybe the sink lights up a bit. Cause i found myself randomly spamming space because i couldnt really see the sink on the floor(they r the same tone) and even if i thought i was on one apparently i wasnt. Same for door, no clue if i can or cant interact with which ones.
I also woulve like to have a more clear indication of hitbox.
Really cute idea. Had fun playin the game. Good stuffff
Cool idea. I would've liked there to be something more to being a ghost that just searching for a potion. Like maybe the reaper goes around trying to collect your soul. Or it's a race againt time to find a potion.
I also found the colliders a bit unforgiving. Such as the water killing me if my head touches it...even though technically my feet are the only thing on the floor and my head isnt touching the water. U could use two colliders, one thats just the feet and the other thats the entier body. (though idk what game engine u using sooo ye)
Other than that. Cool idea (noice)
Honestly love the look. Love the idea of the puppets. I wouldve liked the two buttons to be on like completely diff places cause on several occasions i clicked the wrong button. It was really well balanced. Whenever i got like 3 skulls in a row or smth, it didnt feel like it came outta nowhere or smth. Cool game
did u put your pixel art to Filter mode: Point (no filter), because your pixel art was very blurry.
The movement was pretty hard. I don't really see why u put "shot" on the mouse. The way your shoot mechanic works it makes more sense to put it on a key. Idk why u didnt put the jump button on the w key.
The jump was also way too fast, felt like i had little control over how i moved. U could lower gravity when going up, and increase gravity when going down. It would give a bit more control.
Other than that, it was a pretty classic game. I liked it.
Definitely noted. "the game progression isn't quite clear" yep heard that a lot..." further emphasized based on their behavior" honestly i think since they attack quiet fast u understand whats going on pretty easily. Except for the green guy. i made it to where u can drag and drop him onto enemies an he'll blow them up (enemy interacting). "enemy interacting" : i suppose i couldve added a bit more.
Anyways thanks for the feedback. ;)
i realized that but it was the last minute and i didnt know how to implement it.... but now i realized im stupid. I coulve just put a bit of delay before reloading the scene (aka starting over). that way u can see how u died.
As for the green guys, they explode when u kill them. u can drag and drop them onto enemies. u prob didnt understand cause it wasnt clear how u died.
ARGHH. why didnt i think about that sooonnner.
glad u liked the mechanic. :)
OMG. my glob do i love itttttt. i love the concept. i always wanted a typing game that was fun, and that was really fun. Wouldve like a bit more sound effects. And i would've also liked to be able to see how i lost (aka what element went to zero). Like an image of the MC sad, or sick, or broke, or alone (but caricatured...or else it's just sad). And if you get all the stats up to a certain level you get a "overall doing great boost". idk im just rambling. TTThe point is, i like. GooOoOd stuffff
The visuals are absolutely amazing. And I kept playing because i just couldnt get enough of them. But, idk if it's because im bad at the game, or it if i missed a mechanic, i just never had enough silk. I would constantly have to go kill flies for silk, and it just felt so tedious. Plus they were moving, i had no visual indication of the range of my attack, they barely gave any silk or hp compared to how much i used to kill them. And sometimes they wouldnt drop anything. Idk, i'd love to replay the game. But to me it seems like it need some balancing. I really wish i couldve seen more of the game u made.
Honestly.....i didnt know what to do. first few minutes were spent just trying to understand the controls. Didnt undertand the point of foraging (I didnt see what collecting stuff did). Just all around was very confused on what i was meant to do. Though i do appreciate that you spent some time on the Menu and Intro. Got me interested right from the start.
