This was such a cool idea and was done really well! I love when clicker games have a story and objective rather than just going on endlessly! It felt like a bit of a grind to get to the end, but I think this is probably just because it is meant to be played in one sitting so you cant gather currency in the background like most clickers. Overall This was one of my favorite games of the jam!

Such a cool idea! I loved the idea of being able to see the music playing out in the level design! The music is also absolutely amazing! I also loved how the rewind mechanic fit in with the music! This is a minor thing, but I felt like player movement felt a little bit slow since the positions you can be in are so close together,  but this wasn't really a big deal at all! Overall, I loved this entry!

Really enjoyed! I loved the art and music, and the darkness mechanic is super cool! The character controls feel kind of "slippery" in the air, but this didn't really take away from the fun! Overall I really liked your entry!

I loved this entry! I thought the graphics and music were both super awesome, and adding a new control scheme later in the game was a really fun twist! I would love to see this game continued and think it could become an even more awesome game! I would say if you continue, I would work on improving the camera in the swimming section, because I felt like it liked to stay behind rocks that blocked my view. I'd also suggest making the gameplay a little more complex. Maybe add some type of dash rings or a way to grow your pod! Overall though, I really enjoyed and thought it was amazing!

Really Enjoyed! I loved the story that you gave to the game, which really made it stand out. Also, the puzzles and level design are on point! My one suggestion would be to make it a little bit easier to tell which traps are about to fire, as I ended up dying to traps I forgot were about to fire a lot more than I'd care to admit :P. Overall though, I thought this was a really awesome entry!

I really had a lot of fun with this entry! The idea of having three different ages with different abilities is super cool, and executed really well! It was really cool to see parts of the level changing as I was playing it! My only big critique would be how fast the clock moves. I feel like in some sections I didn't have enough time, where in others I was stuck waiting to age. My suggestion would be to give the player just a little bit more time, but also give them an option to fast forward if they needed. Overall though, this didn't really take away from the game at all, and I thought it was a really well thought out and well made game!

Sorry it took so long! I downloaded it and then forgot to actually play the game! :P I just finished playing it and I really enjoyed! I left a longer comment with more feedback on your page if you are interested!

Really enjoyed this game and could see myself spending a lot of time with it! I love how the gameplay is simple enough to pick up and play a quick game, but still makes for a very fun and engaging game! I also really liked the graphics and the particles/slow motion when you get hit! I couldn't quite get the game to fit on my screen, but that is probably just my computer. My only other critique would be that I was pretty confused for my first few games. Maybe I just missed it because part of the screen was cut off, I feel like a controls/ how to play page would be really helpful. Overall though, I thought it was a super fun and well polished game!

This is such a cool game! The controls are super tight and the rewind mechanic works so well! I also really loved the complexity added by all the different enemy types and mechanics! My one criticism would be that I think the combo meter doesn't really matter unless you are playing on the harder difficulties. Maybe slow it down a little bit when you play on the easier modes. Overall though, I absolutely loved this entry and it's one I feel like I could end up playing over and over again!

Thank you for the feedback! Definitely agree that the shooting needs a rework, and that's probably one of my first priorities post-jam! I probably will also add a little bit more context for the enemies. I'll definitely try your game out, thanks for playing!

Thanks for the feedback! Sound is definitely my next priority. I hadn't thought about other effects like screen shake, but that's a great idea, thanks!

I love this take on the theme! the art and music are both amazing, and the game plays super well! I noticed some weird freezing where the music would hitch (mostly when transitioning between scenes), but that is probably just my old computer giving out on me :P . Well done making a really fun and super polished game!

I loved the really unique idea and execution! The attention to detail in making the game function like an actual operating system is really amazing. My suggestion would be to add a little bit more of a hint to the codes (maybe tell the player what letters are right/wrong), because I unfortunately got stuck on the last code! :(  (If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great!) Overall though, I loved the concept and the game, and it ended up being one of my favorites of the entire jam so far!

Really enjoyed! The graphics and general polish of the game is great! I loved the story and the game controls really well! One suggestion I would make is to make the combat a little bit more complex. It felt like I normally either walked up and hit the enemy and moved on, or just simply jumped over them. Also, there is a hole in the back wall on the first level that the player can walk through and get out of bounds. Overall though, I thought this was a fantastic game and really enjoyed!

Just watched the trailer and it was super awesome! I think it is WAY better than many trailers and ads for games I see.  Also, thanks for pointing out the music/sfx adjustment, that's a really nice feature to add! I think I still enjoy leaving the music on more than playing without, but just felt like the loop that plays in the background could be a little longer. Overall, though, the short music was a really small inconvenience in a really great game!

I thought this game was super awesome!  mixing 2D and 3D art was so cool!  I also loved how easy and seamless it was to transition between times. I would LOVE to see a bigger version with more story and puzzles! I thought the puzzles were fantastic, but did feel a little lost at what to do at times.  Giving the player a little bit more of a hint at what to do could be nice in parts.  Also, I know this was already mentioned but the player could move a bit faster. Overall, this has been one of my favorites so far! (roffe)

Really awesome and well implemented idea! I love the creativity and the  frantic feel created by having all the cubes bouncing around and running into each other! The idea of downgrading weapons and having to learn the different strategies for each also really added to the gameplay.  I feel like the music is a bit repetitive, and a few more measures would be nice, but I honestly really loved this game and had a ton of fun playing!

:D

This is such a great, well polished game! The controls feel SUPER solid and responsive, which I've heard is really hard to do! Setting the game up in a tall, skinny window is super clever and the level design complements this so well! My only critique would be that the game didn't fit the theme super well like others have said, but for me this was no big deal because it was still super polished and fun! Also, I did find a small bug where it said I collected 275 coins out of 8 (I guess I must just be that good :) )

This is such a cool game! The graphics and music are awesome, and I was really impressed with the mechanic of being inside the cassette reel! I did notice the player tends to drift forwards when in the air, which threw me off for a sec but once I got used to it it was totally fine! Overall I thought this game was super awesome!

Thank you for playing and the awesome feedback! I'm definitely going to add audio first thing post-jam. The green guys are definitely still SUPER glitchy, but I ran out of time to fix that and will hopefully return to that after ratings. Thanks again!

Thanks for playing! I definitely agree that the gameplay is hard to get used to, and will probably try to fix it up post-jam!

Thank you so much for the feedback! The shooting and green enemies are both still SUPER glitchy, but hopefully I can get them fixed post-jam. I hadn't really thought about putting a more clear objective but that is a great idea!

Thank you for playing and the feedback :)! sound is definitely next on my list of things to add!

Thanks for playing! I tried yours and really enjoyed it as well! It was super interesting to see a similar game to mine taken in a different direction with a WHOLE lot more polish

I absolutely loved this entry! It reminds me of Crypt of the NecroDancer/Cadence of Hyrule which were two of my favorites of all time! Really enjoyed the sense of humor and the sick dance animations :) My only suggestion would be to make the music loop behind the gameplay just a tad bit longer, as it got a little repetitive after a while. Overall though this is one of my favorite games of the jam!

Really enjoyed! The mechanics and gameplay feel great! Unfortunately, the far left button in the last room glitched for me and wouldn't stay pressed down even with a box on top of it, but I still had a really fun time!

It took me a while to get it but when I did it was super fun! I loved the humor with the story and the gameplay is super solid! Its definitely one of the harder games in the jam, but I think making the students fire less randomly could help. Also, I ran into a glitch where if you start a room and die it won't let you progress if you complete it later. Overall, though, I really loved this entry and had a lot of fun playing!

Thanks for the feedback and kind words! :)

Really enjoyed! I loved the use of humor and portraying a great message at the end! my suggestion would be to make the texts shorter / timer longer and add more cars, to add to the frantic and dangerous feel. Overall I loved this game!

Thanks for playing and feedback!

Thanks for playing! There was a controls/story screen originally, but on webGL it skips past it right away and I didn't have time to fix it before submissions were due. Music and sound effects are definitely my next focus! Thank you for your feedback!

Thank you for the feedback! Sound and improving aiming are definitely my first priorities post-jam. Thanks again for playing!

Really cool and well executed idea! I would love to see an expanded version of the game with more mechanics or story! Really enjoyed!

Really cool puzzle mechanics! I thought the rewind mechanic was implemented really well and made the game super interesting! Some explanation of the controls and what the buttons do could be nice, as it took me a while to figure it out. Overall though, I really enjoyed!

Great job! I really liked how tight and responsive the controls were, and the boss battle at the end was a huge plus! I don't know if this was intended or not, but I managed to hit the boss four or five times in a row by jumping on him as he flew up to the center of the screen. Overall great game!

I really enjoyed your take on a rewind mechanic! The art style and music are awesome as well, and I loved the commercials mixed in. One thing that I think could be changed is making it so the boxes don't have collision when rewinding. It was a little tedious to try and get boxes to stay on buttons when I had to rewind back after. Overall though really cool and fun game!

Really great idea and executed really well! I loved the art style and music! One small glitch I found that wasn't on the list: When breaking crates as the biggest snowman, it would not let me go past crates even after I broke them. Overall though, I really enjoyed and would love to see more!

Really enjoyed! The grow/shrink mechanic is really fun to play around with and a great take on the theme! The music is also really awesome. The only thing I would say is that an in-game controls screen or tutorial would be nice, but overall I thought it was really good!

Awesome game! I really liked this take on the theme, and the implementation of the wind mechanics is just as good! one small thing I think could be improved is that I found it pretty hard to control the weather effects, but overall this has been one of my favorite games of the jam!
