Hmmm...even with the explanation the game is not easy to understand. I read it throughly and tried multiple ways to ensure I was at the right position etc. but everything happens so fast I could not get it. I think the idea of you not firing the shots because they already have been fired and just having to be at the right place to "catch" them as to not create a paradox is very unique but the execution, in its current state, its very hard to follow. Maybe a video where you show us how to play might help us better understand your vision.

I read through the description to figure out the mechanic and it definitely is cool and unique  and i had fun going through but my main issue I ran into was with the enemies, their green balls would come from off screen and sometimes when going through a door I would get hit by a ball I couldn't see so it made it a bit difficult to get through.

Yeah we knew this was an issue and wanted to fix it somehow but sadly we didn’t have time :/ Thanks for the feedback and playing though!

Sadly I couldn't figure out how it is ment to be played. Maybe give an explanation on how to play the game when you start the game for the first time.

Thanks for playing! We have seen that a lot of people have been having trouble understanding how to play. We can't add anything into the game itself, but we added a detailed description of how to play on the itch page as the first chunk of text under the game. Figured that was the best we could do for the remainder of the game jam. Hope this helps!

couldn't figure out how to play it :-( loved the story and art tho

Thanks for playing! The timers on the ground count down where one of your projectiles will be fired to and when it ends you have to have your wand positioned over the spot to catch it. If not it will create a paradox and rewind you to the start. Hope my explanation helped a little  we realized we didn’t do a great job of explaining how to play. Thanks for the feedback!

It took me a while to get it but when I did it was super fun! I loved the humor with the story and the gameplay is super solid! Its definitely one of the harder games in the jam, but I think making the students fire less randomly could help. Also, I ran into a glitch where if you start a room and die it won't let you progress if you complete it later. Overall, though, I really loved this entry and had a lot of fun playing!

I first had to figure out how to play it, but then it was fun. I like the music and graphics, good game :)

It would be cool if you also rate my game^^

Hi there!
Interesting interpretation of the theme! The music is really dark and twisty and fits well; It took a while for me understand it, but then it was quite fun :) I also love wizards and submitted a wizard theme :D

Good job sir, fun to play!
